The Sumter HS Lady Gamecocks took a moment to get going on Tuesday night down on the Grand Strand vs Carolina Forest HS. That would be <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="355639" first="Miracle" last="McLean"]</strong> just an 8th grader. McLean runs the floor very well and seems to glide all over the floor. Miracle is still a RAW talent and learning the game. McLean already has good size and the ability to defend out on the perimeter. She brings good versatility to the floor and a very bright future down the road for the Lady Panthers. <em><strong>Lady Gamecocks Ranked #2 </strong></em> The Sumter HS Lady Gamecocks would be ranked #2 in the Prep Girls Hoops Poll. I said Prep Girls Hoops Poll which will debut next week on the network for the all the classes. The Lady Gamecocks moved to (17-3) on the season last night with a 55-24 over Carolina Forest HS. The Lady Gamecocks lost to #1 Rock Hill HS 42-34 earlier this season at the Hoopin in The Ville Classic presented by Prep Girls Hoops and Swanny’s Roundball Review. Could this be a rematch come March in Aiken? Plenty of action and season still to find out. <em><strong>Star Power In The Backcourt </strong></em> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171802" first="Kiara" last="Croskey"]</strong> was up to it again with her steady play for the Lady Gamecocks. Croskey finished with 21 points according to my unofficial stats this evening in the lopsided win. Croskey is the #3 ranked player in the 2024 Palmetto State currently. Kiara really can change speeds and directions well while getting to the basket. McLean plans on playing at North Greenville University (SC) (NCAA D2) next year. <strong>Maya Palmer</strong> was able to connect on 4 three pointers tonight and finished with 13 points for the Lady Panthers.
