Unsigned Orlando Area 2022- POSTS There are many players in the Orlando area still looking for an opportunity to play at the next level. Many of these players have offers, some do not.  As of this post, these players are uncommitted. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-389443 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/02/Leilany-Laurenao-Ocoee-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1645195058-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /> </strong> &nbsp; <strong>Leilany Laureano</strong> 5’11” PF Ocoee Laureano is a strong player that plays very physical.  She rebounds the ball very well, getting into position and using her frame to maneuver into the right spot.  She is scoring 7.9 points per game for the Knights. &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91560" first="Paris" last="Gaines"]</strong> 6’3” PF Jones The 6’3’ post is a smooth lefty that has nice looking jump shot.  Gaines has the ability to play with her back to the basket along with the confidence to step out to hit the long-range jumper.  Gaines sees the floor well, passing out of the post, to get her teammates involved in the game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="248880" first="Brandee" last="Bennett-Clark"]</strong> 5’11” PF Winter Springs Bennett-Clark is a wrecking ball down in the post.  Moving players around with her frame and physical strength.  Not the tallest post, however, she has the confidence to take a mid-range jumper from the high post and mid-post spot.  A four-year varsity letterman she is grabbing 7.6 rebounds per game for the Bears. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-389445 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/02/Sydney-Ellis-130x300.jpg" alt="" width="130" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="248875" first="Sydney" last="Ellis"]</strong> 6’0” PF Freedom Ellis has the nicest touch for the senior post players class that I have seen this season.  Consistent to knock down the outside shot.  Along with being a lock down post defender, she denies the post entry pass which causes many blocks and deflections.  Look forward to seeing her play at the next level. <strong>Emelyn Tineo Gonzalez</strong> 6’0” C Osceola She is a highly active player that is always on the move.  Very aggressive to take the ball to the basket and get to the free throw line.  A team player that runs the floor, being a passing option for her teammates. <strong>Taylor Hougland</strong> 6’1” C Lake Nona Hougland, a tall post that makes herself available in the post.  She has the nose to the ball, and grabs rebounds, usually putting offensive rebounds back in for points.  She is scoring 7.8 points per game and grabbing 4.0 rebounds per game. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-389450 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/02/Marsh-lake-howell-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="248843" first="Mireya" last="Marsh"]</strong> 5’11” PF Lake Howell She is a deadly from the high post.  Usually catching the ball at the elbow, then turning to shot or drive to the basket.  She is grabbing 8.8 rebounds per game while tossing in 9.8 points per game.  Marsh has the capability to play a multitude of positions at the next level. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Luke Zbynski is the Orlando area writer for Prep Girls Hoops.  Any story ideas or basketball information.  Please contact him at zbynskiprephoops@gmail.com and follow him on twitter at @zbynskiprehoop.
