HONORABLE MENTIONS

[player_tooltip player_id="194461" first="Lexie" last="Bowers"] (2023, PG, Kent City)
Bowers is an elite talent that should be in Miss Basketball conversations for next year. She averaged 15.5 point per game and 6.5 rebounds per game in the last 2 contests.
[player_tooltip player_id="178852" first="Grace" last="Bradford"] (2022, PF, Glen Lake)
Bradford was a beast in the semifinals. She finished the game with a 17 point and 13 rebound double-double. Bradford ended her high school career with a truly memorable effort and performance.
[player_tooltip player_id="244268" first="Madelyn" last="Geers"] (2024, SG, Kent City)
Geers was terrific in her final 2 games of the season. She averaged a double-double in the Final 4 with 21.5 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game. With performances like these on the biggest of stages, Geers looks ready for a huge junior season.
[player_tooltip player_id="244301" first="Ryan" last="Moorer"] (2024, G/F, Bishop Foley)
You can see the star player written all over this young athlete. She battled against a tough Kent City defense in the semis, finishing with 7 points and 10 rebounds.
[player_tooltip player_id="244278" first="Stacy" last="Utomi"] (2024, SF, Arbor Prep)
Her numbers in the Final 4 don’t do her justice as to her influence on the game. She averaged 6.5 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game, but did all the little things and did them well. Her basketball IQ is through the roof.
[player_tooltip player_id="147771" first="Karianna" last="Woods"] (2022, CG, Arbor Prep)
Woods was lights out throughout the playoffs this season and the Final 4 was just the last piece. She had the look of a nice secondary scoring option, but it was her ability to find open teammates and get them the ball with accuracy and efficiency that stood out. Woods averaged 9.5 points per game and 4 assists per game in the Final 4.

MOST OUSTANDING PLAYER

[player_tooltip player_id="147714" first="Mya" last="Petticord"] (2022, PG, Arbor Prep)
What a fitting end to a legendary high school career. When Petticord arrived a freshman, she had champion written all over her game and her demeanor. You could tell that she was a winner through and through. It’s only appropriate that she goes out with the title of state champion and D3 Final 4 Most Outstanding Player. She was a Prep Girls Hoops Michigan class of 2022 Player of the Year Honorable Mention last year.

Petticord was unstoppable offensively, using her ability to break down a defender and her movement without the ball to score at all 3 levels. She's an elite prospect nationally and is about to embark on what I believe will be a tremendous college basketball career.
