Stella Heapy | Medicine Valley | Guard | 5’9″
Heapy does not lack confidence on the court. She plays with an intensity and swagger that is contagious and influence her team. Her sophomore year, Heapy averaged 16.8 points, 3.0 assists, 7.6 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.3 blocks per game. She has the ability to affect every area of the game. Heapy doesn’t mind the physicality in the paint, but did have a tendency to settle for jump shots, often long distance ones, that impacted her shooting percentage. As Heapy embraces her ability to be more physical on the offensive side and get in position for higher probability makes, she could explode for the Raiders and challenge for the Class scoring title.

Maycee Radke | Elba | Guard | 5’8″
Her sophomore season was a bit up and down, but Radke posted solid averages at 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. Radke really seemed to figure it out at the end of the year, averaging 23.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game over her last four. She became a force near the basket creating high percentage shots by inside moves and rebounding. Being as physical as she is, Radke will continue to develop her jump shot, including free throw consistency, and her ability to create shots for others. If she is able to add these elements to her game, Radke could become one of the top players in Class D-2.

Lorissa Reimen | St. Mary’s | Forward | 5’9″
Reiman’s nickname should be “Windex” with how she cleans the glass. She attacks the painted area as soon as shots go up and has amazing instincts on how to tip the ball around to create a better opportunity to rebound. During her sophomore season, she averaged 10.8 points, 11.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game, on 44% from the field shooting. This included three games where she had 16 or more rebounds. Reiman plays the post well on both offense and defense, and does great at maneuvering to make a play. With her offensive package developing, Reimen could become solid prospect for the Cardinals.

Jada Smith | Parkview Christian | Forward | 5’10”
Smith has good size and knows how to use it on the blocks. She does a great job getting long and when challenging, staying straight up to prevent foul calls. She averaged 9.6 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.0 blocks per game this past fall. Smith does a great job of playing the ball off the rim and positioning herself for rebound put backs. She displayed some ability to shoot from distance which can really stretch the floor for the Patriots and create lanes of opportunity for their guards. Developing more post moves and her shot mechanics should have Smith as someone opponents will need to game plan for each week.
