There were several scouts in attendance from all across the country who were watching their region, including my region, the Victory Region. These are kids who are separate from the daily standouts or Young Guns feature coming later this week.
I had a chance to see all of the 16U and 15U teams, and have put together an all-tournament team in each age group. Many of the teams I only saw once, so I am determining these teams based off the game(s) I saw. The talent was solid and I look forward to seeing many of them at our next LIVE event in May!
Jim’s 15U All-Tournament team (Victory Region)
Mileah Mckain, 2025, 5 Star 2025
She is a long, athletic player who is a player who works hard at all aspects of her game. Does a great job working to establish position and is a good pick-and-pop player. Her length allows her to alter shots and defend well around the rim, while being able to guard multiple positions. Good footwork and moves well. She also showed good perimeter game with a three-point threat.
Kate Donovan, 2026, Full Package 2025 Black
Loved this kids game! She has smooth handles from the point guard spot with a good crossover move and for her age, she possesses good leadership skills and is has a good basketball IQ. She finds the open player, and can set up her teammates for the open or better shot. Watch out for her the next few years!
Karis Weinberg, 2025, 5 Star 2025
A quiet leader, she just did everything to make her team better. She is an active player with good court sense and does the little things for her team. Good handles, can create space and push tempo. She also has good quickness for her to be able to create. Also can knock down the perimeter shot.
Reese Crosby, 2026, Full Package Black 2026
She has good length and is able to create in multiple ways for her team. Excellent moves and footwork around the rim. Does a nice job playing downhill and has strong fundamentals which you can tell she works on. Solid defender and active without the ball.
Lillian Barnes, 2025, City Elite
It didn’t take long for me to find out her game on Sunday, she is a hard-nosed worker with a good head for the game. She can score on the floater, pushes tempo and has good body control around the rim. I liked the way she was able to attack the rim. She possesses good handles and is a smart player and is able to play through contact. Solid defender.
