There were several scouts in attendance from all across the country who were watching their region, including my region, the Victory Region. These are kids who are separate from the daily standouts or Young Guns feature coming later this week.
I had a chance to see all of the 16U and 15U teams, and have put together an all-tournament team in each age group. Many of the teams I only saw once, so I am determining these teams based off the game(s) I saw. The talent was solid and I look forward to seeing many of them at our next LIVE event in May!
Jim’s 16U All-Tournament team (Victory Region)
Addie Meyer, 2024, Illinois Hustle 24 White
Very impressed with her game that I saw Saturday, as she was a complete player with a lot of potential in front of her. Did a great job with the pick-and-roll, and knew where to be. She worked hard on the boards and played with a lot of intensity at the rim. She stayed with the play and showed me a nice baby hook around the rim. She handled the ball well with both hands and showed a strong passing ability.

Long athletic guard with good handles who showed a strong ability to control the tempo of the game, and push north-south under control. She is a good passer in transition, looking up the floor. Does a good job defending up top, is active and always seems to be around the ball. She can finish on the break, and showed a good head on her shoulders about the game.
Raegen Stringer, 2024, Fusion Basketball Academy Clifton
I loved this point guard! She is the kind of point guard I want on my team, fiery and always playing with a high motor! Has a lot of good swag which I like, has very solid handles and can take the ball into traffic and is not afraid of contact. She has good demeanor on the court and has active hands and feet on defense, playing good on-ball and can pressure you. She can score with either hand.
Sela Klein, 2024, Full Package Black 2024
Can take the ball to the hole and possesses the ability to block and alter shots. She is a tough wing with an excellent perimeter game including from behind the arc. She is a good catch-and-shoot player and is athletic to be able to make plays. Can defend multiple positions and moves well without the ball. Good court sense and intensity.
Destiny Jones, 2024, Overtime Performance Owsley
She is a rebounding machine as I saw first-hand on Sunday morning. Playing in the 8am game, she came out with a fire to compete and immediately made her presence known in the paint. She is a hard nosed kid who can take the ball to the rim. She scored multiple points and I have to believe she had double-doubles all weekend. Athletic and can finish well at the rim.
