Here in Part 2, we’ll look at some more of the 15u standouts at the Great Lakes Challenge.
Jaebri’an Autry (2026, HYPE Athletics 2025 Brian, David Ellis Academy West)
Autry sent a message at the Great Lakes Challenge. She played up and she more than belonged. Autry was fast and showed the ability to turn on the jets and hit another speed with the ball.
Mariah Kerley (2025, The Naturals 2025, East Jackson)
Kerley did a nice job finding high quality shots. In a tough defensive game, she managed to get good looks at the rim. Kerley was very efficient on both ends of the floor.
Tanayah Porter (2025, BNB 2025, Grand Rapids Union)
Porter was an athletic playmaker throughout the weekend. She could push the pace in transition and proved to be a powerful and creative finisher. Porter had some wiggle to her game that helped her manufacture looks at the rim.
Natalie Trammel (2025, TC Elite 2025, Hartland)
Trammel Made her presence known at the Great Lakes Challenge. She just seemed to always be around the ball trying to make a play. Trammel did an array of things well over the course of the weekend, showing the potential to have a very well rounded game.
Ayla Turk Ayla Turk 5'5" | PG Perrysburg | 2025 OH (2025, Focus3D 2026, Perrysburg)
I know, I’m supposed to focus on Michigan in this article. But if I find you on accident, then you have to be doing something right. That something right was on the defensive end. Turk had the look of a stopper and set the tone for the entire game on that end. When I watched, her defense was stifling.
Amal Younes (2025, HYPE Athletics 2025 Stillwell, Walled Lake Northern)
Younes caught my eye as soon as she hit the floor. She was fast with the ball, changed direction quickly, and just plain hard for defenders to stay in front of. Younes was creative with the ball and showed body control on her finishes at the rim.
Keira Zorski (2025, PR1DE 2025, Clarkston)
Zorski showed some nice athleticism. She showed an impressive burst and straight line speed. Zorski used these to attack the rim with a direct dribble drive.
