<p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Last week we were in Nashville, TN, with #PGHMusicCityShowdown, and one week later, we found ourselves in Hot-lanta doing it big at #PGHPeachGames. There is no other city in the south that is as LIT as the A, and during day one of #PGHPeachGames, there was some LIT talent on display. Let’s look at some of the top performers in the 2023 classifications that were getting it done…</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-425510 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/PGH-TP-Ashaunte-Monday-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="419733" first="Ashaunte" last="Monday"] </span>(5’6/PG/2023)</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">AAU Team: Alabama Twisters</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Instagram: N/A</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Twitter: N/A</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">During the first game I saw at #PGHPeachGames, I witnessed Ashaunte put on display a ball-handling clinic. The things that she could do with the ball were very impressive. Her team had two games on Friday night, so I got double the entertainment. She is an absolutely dominating force with the ball in her hands and is a frightening sight for defenders when they are out on an island trying to guard her.</p> <blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><strong>She has a deep bag of tricks with the ball in her hands, and for the first two games her team played last night, no one could stop her.</strong></p> </blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">The only thing that did slow her down was seemingly a leg cramp, but that only slowed her down as she was back in soon afterward, breaking down defenders off the bounce. She is a shooter’s BFF as her attack off the bounce causes the defense to collapse every time, leaving a choice of open receivers. She definitely has the potential to play at the next level, and it is just a matter of time before a program jumps at the opportunity.</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Offers</span>: She currently holds no offers.</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-425511 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/PGH-TP-Tylia-Kemp-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />Tylia Kemp </span>(5’10/Wing/2022)</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">AAU Team: FBC LEGACY US</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Instagram: Tylia_kemp</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Twitter: @Tyliakemp</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Tylia was one of the ’22 players out this weekend, looking to continue putting on display her talent as she prepares to transition onto a college campus this fall. Well, she definitely showed her versatility and her inside dominance during the match-up against AL Twisters. She scored often and at will as the Twisters had no answer for her.</p> <blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><strong>I loved her efficiency and productivity.</strong></p> </blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">She had a terrific showing in all facets of the game. She is smart and skilled inside the arc, and it was in the paint where she did her best work. TK poured in 28pts as she was hard to guard as she has a perimeter game, but on day one at #PGHPeachGames, it was her post-up game and put backs from the offensive board where she did her most damage.</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><em>Offers:</em></p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA)</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Bryant-Stratton (Albany, NY)</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Carver College (Atlanta, GA)</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-425512 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/PGH-TP-Ayana-Boyd-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />Ayana Boyd </span>(5’9/CG/2023)</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">AAU Team: Bouncenation FBC</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Instagram: ayanadaniellee</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Twitter: @AyanaSharicee3</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Ayana was just on another level on day one at #PGHPeachGames. She impacted the game on both ends with her energy and activity. Offensively she has a striking blend of speed, explosion off the bounce as she is attacking the rim, visionary passing that allowed her to pressure the defense even though she was struggling from behind the arc, and she was one of the fearless competitors I saw. She has positional size as she will undoubtedly settle into a PG spot at the next level.</p> <blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><strong>She is unselfish and worked to get teammates involved but cashed in on scoring opportunities when they presented themselves.</strong></p> </blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Defensively, her activity in the passing lanes, her on-ball defense, and when she was digging down on the post made opponents look shell-shocked at times. Not saying that she does not have one now, but if she can show a consistent jumper, what she is going to bring to the next level significantly makes her a more appealing prospect.</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><em>Offers</em>: Coppin</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-425513 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/PGH-TP-Aaliyah-Hunt-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />Aaliyah Hunt </span>(6’3/C/2023)</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">AAU Team: Atlanta Cagers</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Instagram: luvrgirlliyah</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Twitter: @AaliyahHunt44</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">One of the first things that coaches should know is that she has greatness as a rim protector and a space-eater. At the current level in which I see she is being recruited, she has the capability to anchor a defense no matter who else is on the floor alongside her. She contested shots without fouling, controlled the glass, and locked down the paint by clogging up driving lanes.</p> <blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><strong>An impressive thing about Aaliyah is that she has excellent hands and can score in the paint with touch, and she finishes around the rim thru contact.</strong></p> </blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">She also has great court awareness off the low block catch and is patient with her attack. There are some mobility concerns that could raise a flag, but make no mistake about it; she is a real problem for teams looking for paint production because she alone is the force that will be standing in their way.</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><em>Offers</em>: La salle, Winthrop, Stonybrook</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-425515 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/05/PGH-TP-Aryelle-King-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" />Aryelle King </span>(5’3/PG/2023)</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">AAU Team: FBC legacy</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Instagram: Aryelle.king3</p> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Twitter: @Aryelle_king</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Aryelle is the only day one top performer in my article that is under 5’5, but let’s be clear about one thing: she may be small, but she was one of the most electrifying talents on day one. She may not have the build or the look of a typical perimeter floor general that can handle the PG role, but looks can be deceiving as she is effective, efficient, and reliable with the ball in her hands. She knows how to create space off the bounce as she is lightning quick with the ball in her hands, and she showed her playmaking ability when attacking the paint and collapsing the D, then finding teammates for easy scoring opportunities. I mentioned that she was electric, and she showed it as she gave the crowd some eye-popping moments, as she left defenders looking confused as she hit them with a dribble move and drained the perimeter J over them.</p> <blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><strong>Aryelle makes life easier for her teammates, which you look for from your PG.</strong></p> </blockquote> <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Defensively there could be some concerns because of her size, but she compensates for that by being in the right place at the right time and was always an engaged team defender.</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;"><em>Offers</em>: Player did not list any on the questionnaire</p> &nbsp; <p style="margin: 0in; font-family: Georgia; font-size: 16.0pt; color: #0e101a;">Stay locked in as more is coming from #PGHPeachGames.</p>
