Na’kiya Bonner Na’kiya Bonner 5'6" | PG Detroit Edison | 2024 State MI (2024, PG, Detroit Edison)
Let’s be real, rottweilers are show stoppers. They are the dog that everyone wants to see or catch a glimpse of. Bonner’s basketball game resonates in the same way. She’s a living highlight reel that makes the incredibly difficult play look easy. Bonner has that flash and flare with her elite skills that draws people to the gym.
Bridget Crombie Bridget Crombie 5'11" | SF CHAP | 2023 State MI (2023, SF, CHAP)
Rottweilers are incredibly versatile animals. They can be tough guard dogs and gentle companions at the same time. Crombie plays basketball with that same type of versatility. She can play and defend multiple positions, as well as score from all 3 levels.
Hailey Freshcorn Hailey Freshcorn 5'8" | PG Columbia Central | 2024 State MI (2024, PG, Onsted)
Rottweilers are instinctive leaders. Freshcorn is a leader in every sense of the word. She’s a vocal leader on the court and a role model both on and off the floor. Payton Lee Payton Lee 6'4" | C Anchor Bay | 2023 State MI (2023, C, Anchor Bay)
Rottweilers live with a unique combination of power and grace. Lee plays the game of basketball with some of that same unique combination. She’s graceful in the way she meticulously searches for position under the rim and uses angles to seal of defenders. Lee is equally as powerful when she battles for a board in traffic.
Shamya Reid Shamya Reid 5'5" | PG Westfield Prep | 2023 State MI (2023, PG, Westfield Prep)
Just like a rottweiler, it seems like Reid can never be slowed down no matter what the circumstances. She goes at the defense and shows them from the opening tip exactly who’s in charge.
