[player_tooltip player_id="254276" first="Kate" last="Baker"]-[program_tooltip program_id='714288' first='Bluegrass' last='Girls Basketball'] 2025 [player_tooltip player_id="254276" first="Kate" last="Baker"] arrived at the Run 4 Roses with one thing on her mind and that was to play to the best of her abilities and that's exactly what she did. She took over against Nautilus Express moving extremely well without the ball finding her sweet spots she could not miss from deep hitting three-pointer after three-pointer. Kate set the tempo for her team and she worked hard on offense and defense. [player_tooltip player_id='1003213' first='Jaylynn' last='Goodwin']-[program_tooltip program_id='714288' first='Bluegrass' last='Girls Basketball'] 2025 [program_tooltip program_id='714288' first='Bluegrass' last='Girls Basketball'] went 4-2 in the DENIM Pool at the Run 4 Roses. They played against some top tier teams including the number one ranked Adidas team from Seattle. [player_tooltip player_id='1003213' first='Jaylynn' last='Goodwin'] was played outstanding for BGB, each game she made and impact whether it was dishing the ball getting others involved or using her blazing speed to blow past defenders finishing with finesse at the rim. Goodwin played hard nosed defense she came up with a lot of steals playing full court pressure resulting to easy transition layups. Nevaeh Davis-[program_tooltip program_id='712782' first='Richmond' last='Heat'] 2025 Nevaeh Davis played with intensity every game for [program_tooltip program_id='712782' first='Richmond' last='Heat']. She really showed how tough and physical she can be against the Orlando Basketball Club. Davis was matched up against a much bigger player but she more than held her own in the post. She hit the boards hard and fought for every rebound. Davis was extremely active in the low post offensively she scored several points inside. [player_tooltip player_id="329436" first="Brittany" last="Campbell"]-[program_tooltip program_id='712782' first='Richmond' last='Heat'] 2025 [player_tooltip player_id="329436" first="Brittany" last="Campbell"] really stood out with her play at the Roses. She racked up a ton of assist during the PSB Denver and Orlando Basketball Club games. Campbell played really unselfish creating shot opportunities for her teammates making sure everyone got involved. Her passing ability is something special to see she has that knack for throwing good passes she puts it right in the shooters pocket every time. [player_tooltip player_id='494473' first='Aryanna' last='Gulley']-Lady Disciples 2026 If you have not heard of [player_tooltip player_id='494473' first='Aryanna' last='Gulley'] you soon will not to mention she is the younger sister of [player_tooltip player_id='467609' first='Jaidyn' last='Gulley'] [program_tooltip program_id='715308' first='WV' last='Thunder'] player who is already well-known in Kentucky. Gulley brought her "A" game at the Roses she displayed her tremendous potential against the Lady Hustle National. Gulley was dominant down low showing off her incredible footwork using post moves to score at the rim she had a nice and one play where she capitalized from the free throw line as well. [player_tooltip player_id='741172' first='Makiyia' last='Wheeler']-KY Premier 2027 Makiya Wheeler has a bright future a head of her she is a solid athlete with great speed, even with the ball in her hands she is still fast. Wheeler excelled scoring in transition once she gets going to the rim she is hard to stop. Wheeler has good range on her shot and she knocked down a lot jumpers throughout the tournament. [player_tooltip player_id='743656' first='Carley' last='Boyd']-KY Premier 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='743656' first='Carley' last='Boyd'] showed up and showed out at the Run 4 the Roses. She played excellent against Illinois Lady Lightning on offense she was automatic draining shots from mid and long range. Boyd played tough defense and grabbed a ton of rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id="231488" first="Niah" last="Rhodes"]-ETA Thunder Smith 2025 [player_tooltip player_id="231488" first="Niah" last="Rhodes"] was more than ready to showcase her elite talent and skills at Run 4 the Roses. Against she [program_tooltip program_id='713248' first='OV' last='Lady Dragons'] Red she really put on a show. Rhodes hit a sick crossover, spin move then stepped back and sprayed the jumper the move was so nice any college coach in attendance could not help but to take notice. [player_tooltip player_id='605505' first='Haley' last='Holcomb']-KY Thunder FLAIG 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='605505' first='Haley' last='Holcomb'] has star potential as she keeps developing and improving her game she will be a big time prospect. Holcomb played great at the Roses every time she stepped on the court she competed hard and gave good effort on offense and defense. She scored a lot of points from inside and from the perimeter for KY Thunder.
