West Fargo Sheyenne: The Mustangs are coming back in 22-23' just as strong as they were last year, if not even stronger. They return with Size, Speed, Shooters and some players who can really do damage in the paint. They can be expected to have a great year, and hopeful for a deep run looking looking for a spot in the State Tourney.

[player_tooltip player_id='240340' first='Brenna' last='Dick'] a 5'9 Junior Guard is all out, a gifted player/athlete that knows how to do her job, and she does it well. As a sophomore she had 331pts/12.7ppg, 131 rebounds, 51 assits and shot 42% from the field. Brenna of the top scorers in the EDC, and a proven elite guard. She is shifty, can hit shots from anywhere and has a great court IQ. Last year she had a great year, this coming year you can expect her to have an even bigger year. She is a hard-worker, spends time perfecting her talent and will be a bigtime player for the Mustangs, just as she was last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='100424' first='Peyton' last='Breidenbach'] another talented guard for the Mustangs comes back for her Senior year. The 5'8 Guard is talented on all levels, from shooting, passing to scoring she can do it, and she can do it well. Last year she had 241pts/9.2ppg, 121 rebounds shot 37% and had a whopping 122 assists to add to her resume. Peyton possesses so many good qualities to her and all of them will be vital to running the Mustang offense. She has great handles, a refined shot and play making abilities. I think it's safe to say, she will have a big year.

[player_tooltip player_id='100447' first='Maya' last='Metcalf'] a 6'2 Senior Forward and also a MSUM commit is a name we all know. Metcalf is a proven Forward that knows how to use her size around the rim. Last year she put up 358pts/13.7ppg, 205 Rebounds, shot 41% from the field and 37% from behind the arch. One of the best qualities to Metcalf game is she is versatile in the 1-5 spots. For her size she had good ball handling abilities, and can score inside or outside. She may be 6'2, but don't leave her open anywhere, she has showed she can make you pay and has no problem dropping in buckets from keep.

[player_tooltip player_id='100433' first='Karson' last='Sanders'] is another skilled player the Mustangs will be using down low in the paint. Sanders a Senior 5'11 Forward shot 39% from the field, added 240pts/9.2ppg, and 206 rebounds. Sanders is a skilled forward that is a huge part of the Mustangs roster. She may not have the highest start line but she is as dependable as they come. Sanders has good size to her, blocks out well and can be a force around the rim. She already has a respectable/proven game to her, she is one I could see really having a breakout year this year as well.

Horace: The new Horace Hawks had a preview earlier this summer of their new team/school. They may be new to the State and EDC but they do have some players on their team that could really make a name for themselfs. Don't count them out just because they are new!...they are here and ready to let everyone know who they are.

[player_tooltip player_id='342161' first='Jaiden' last='Haile']: If you havn't heard of this young lady yet, you going to hear her name plenty this year. Jaiden is a 6'2 Sophomore Forward who is strong, athletic and knows how to use her size and strength in the post. This summer she already picked up a D-1 offer from UND which says a lot about her game and skills. She spent the summer playing AAU for NDPRO and MNStarks Elite out of Duluth, MN and had a great summer on the AAU Circuit. She puts in a TON of time working on her all around game and very well could be a statistical leader in the EDC this year. Keep and eye out for her, she fun to watch, another player just waiting to bust out and have a big year.

[player_tooltip player_id='454688' first='Lilia' last='Donnelly'] a incoming Freshman will be running the offense for the Hawks. She is young and loaded with talent to say the least. I was fortunate enough to watch her and her sister [player_tooltip player_id='555488' first='Lakyn' last='Donnelly'] over the summer on the AAU circuit and like mentioned before, you can tell Lilia and her sister Lakyn put a TON of time into perfecting their skills. Lilia has excellent ball handling abilities, and you would think she's a veteran on the floor from how well composed she is. Her future is exciting to say the least.

[player_tooltip player_id='316049' first='Keelie' last='Sunde'] will also be another key factor on the floor for the Hawks. Sunde is a crafty guard that has a great leadership mentality to her. You can expect her to contribute offensively and defensively on a nightly basis. She like the rest are young, but have a great work ethic and attitude to match. Sunde will only continue to improve with experience and time, another quality player coming out of the east.
