These players are not only the future of Arkansas basketball, they are the right now. Conway has 2 players, LR Central has 2 players and the other player belongs to Northside. Let’s take a look at the top 5 players from the class of 2025.
5. Taylor Day Davis Taylor Day Davis 5'10" | SF LR Central | 2025 State AR | 5’10 | Wing | LR Central
Whenever you are thrown into 7A Central conference and receive significant playing time, you have to have the skills and mental ability to survive. But Taylor did more than survive, she made a instant impact. The scary thing is she’s young. She learned some lessons last year after playing in the 7A Central, but it only gets her prepared for the upcoming season. Taylor’s contributions this year to a loaded Central team could lead to something special.
4. Ky Wilson Ky Wilson 5'9" | CG LR Central | 2025 State AR | 5’9 | Wing | LR Central
There’s a storm brewing in Little Rock and it’s about to take place on Central’s campus. One thing Central lacked last year was a consistent outside shooter. When you add Ky to the mixture, it spreads the floor and opens up the floor for other players on the team. She has good size to defend multiple positions, attack from the high post, the wing, get out in transition, and finish at the rim.
3. Alexis Cox Alexis Cox 5'8" | SF Conway | 2025 State AR | Wing | 5’7 | Conway
Alexis received some significant playing time last year for the nationally ranked Lady Wampus Cats. With the departure of a couple wing players due to graduation, Alexis will be called upon to step up and provide a bigger role this year. Her versatility will allow her to play on the wing or operate out of the high post. She will also be able to defend multiple positions if Conway goes man or play different spots on their zone defense.
2. Samyah Jordan Samyah Jordan 5'6" | PG Conway | 2025 State AR | PG | 5’6 | Conway
Samyah played Jr. High basketball last year, but don’t let that fool you. This high IQ player will be able to come in and have an immediate impact to her Conway team. A point guard that loves to defend, attacks off the dribble, an excellent passer, and has a great mid-range game.
1. Erianna Gooden Erianna Gooden 6'0" | PG Northside | 2025 State AR | PG | 6’0 | Northside
Erianna is a special point guard. Standing at 6’0, she possesses some skills that just can’t be taught. She has the ability to see over the defense and make plays because of her size. Erianna is a threat on offense with her ability to get to the rim. Defensively she can cause problems with her size and length.
