PGH Freshman Showcase Review: Teams 1 & 2

The event, which took place at Fishers High School, included exactly 100 registered participants, all from the 2026 class. I have already highlighted a handful of standouts in a couple of previous articles, but I also wanted to take the time to circle back and discuss many of the other girls who participated in the showcase. Also, once again, I want to thank all of the players, parents, and support staff who made this event a success!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>TEAM 1:</strong><br>#385 - [player_tooltip player_id='486497' first='Kenzie' last='Touloukian'] - Brownsburg H.S. - Kenzie is a strong, physical forward who played with a nice toughness throughout. She has a good motor, she's a solid athlete, and she flashed some perimeter skill at times.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#398 - [player_tooltip player_id='486524' first='Kandace' last='Kroft'] - Winamac Community H.S. - Kandace has a solid to strong frame, and she's willing to be physical as a perimeter player. She played with a nice motor, and she showed a balanced skillset.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#403 - [player_tooltip player_id='486505' first='Devyn' last='Johnson'] - Noblesville H.S. - Devyn is a nice-looking athlete with some strength. She was steady with the ball and showed the ability to attack the basket. She also knocked down a couple of jumpers when I saw her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#405 - [player_tooltip player_id='488377' first='Zha'Viara' last='Harris'] - Lift for Life Academy (MO) - Zha'Viara has a great deal of length, she's wiry-strong, and she is a fast athlete who flies down the floor. She was great in transition and always seemed to get to the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#421 - [player_tooltip player_id='449149' first='Katherine' last='Sarver'] - Terre Haute South Vigo H.S. - Katherine is a fairly strong combo guard, she has some length, and she played with a nice motor. I thought she shot it well when I was able to watch her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#422 - [player_tooltip player_id='486552' first='Adalyn' last='Mallad'] - Borden H.S. - Adalyn had one of the best motors at the event. She is a strong wing guard, she backs down from no one, and she is always on attack. She also defended with great effort.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#431 - [player_tooltip player_id='486489' first='Jordynn' last='Johnson'] - Elkhart H.S. - Jordynn is extremely strong and was almost overpowering for some of her peers. She has good length at her height, a nice shiftiness to her game, and she can score in different ways.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#444 - [player_tooltip player_id='486542' first='Alonna' last='Divine'] - Ben Davis H.S. - Alonna is a really nice talent and had a good day. She's athletically strong, fluid, and can run &amp; jump. She has point forward skill and likes to attack the basket and create/score.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#447 - [player_tooltip player_id='486533' first='Elle' last='Mcculloch'] - Brownsburg H.S. - Elle might have been the looongest kid at the event. She looks like she could grow 2-3 more inches, but in the meantime, she is a fluid athlete with a balanced perimeter skillset.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>TEAM 2:</strong><br>#264 - [player_tooltip player_id='486553' first='Natalie' last='Thomas'] - Fishers H.S. - <em><a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/2022/08/gamechangers-pgh-freshman-showcase-top-frontline-performers/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">see event eval here</a></em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#402 - [player_tooltip player_id='486506' first='Mary' last='Harmon'] - Greensburg H.S. - Mary has a nice, balanced skillset and really shot it well each time I saw her. She has some quickness and athleticism, plus I really liked her somewhat "crafty" basketball IQ.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#426 - [player_tooltip player_id='481402' first='Maci' last='Eckerty'] - Springs Valley H.S. - Maci is strong for her size and a solid on-the-floor athlete in most directions. She showed the ability to play either guard spot equally well and should help Springs Valley soon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#451 - [player_tooltip player_id='486516' first='Jade' last='Diamond'] - Richmond H.S. - Jade is extremely long, North/South fast, fluid, and somewhat bouncy. She was a ball of energy flying up and down the floor. Once she learns to change speeds, watch out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>#452 - [player_tooltip player_id='479613' first='Alyson' last='Powers'] - Greensburg H.S. - Alyson had a nice day, and she was someone I was able to see multiple times throughout the Summer.
