Honestly, the only thing hotter than the weather was the shooting. While there were some standouts from the 23s and 24s, the underclassmen did more than hold their own, as several earned some serious looks.
Keira Roehm | Saline | 2026
Saline High School has a long history of knock down shooters, and Keira is the next in that line. She floats to open spots like a seasoned veteran and is deadly in catch and shoot situations. She easily knocked down double digit three pointers during game play. While most of her makes came in spot up situations, she showed the ability to come off of ball screens as a deep threat. She also showed herself to be a solid defender as she kept older and bigger guards in front of her. In all, she had an amazing camp, especially considering she has yet to step foot into high school.
Alice Max Alice Max 6'2" | PF Rochester | 2025 State MI | Rochester | 2025
The 6’1 post set herself apart as one of the best young bigs at the camp. Her outside touch allows her to hit high post shots and showed the ability to be a plus three point shooter. Her passing might have been the most impressive part of her game, as she hit several cutters from the high post and from the arc. She initiates contact and doesn’t allow herself to get sped up by double teams.
Clare Conzelmann Clare Conzelmann 5'9" | CG Frankenmuth | 2025 State MI | Frankenmuth | 2025
Frankenmuth was well represented at the camp, and Clare was one of the standouts. Clare is a 5’9 wing that loves contact. She leads with her shoulder when she drives and has no problem going into her defender, while converting at a high percentage. She is incredibly aggressive on defense and plays with a lot of energy. She showed a nice pull up game when the drives were taken away. The best part of her game is that she seemed to know when to pull up and when to create the contact.
Alli Zajac Alli Zajac 6'2" | SF Tecumseh | 2025 State MI | Tecumseh | 2025
Alli was another big that showcased a wide array of skills. She has shooting touch all the way out to the three point line and used that touch to exploit sagging defenses. Basketball purists will love to watch her set screens; Alli does a nice job of finding the correct angle to impede the defender and puts solid force into the screen. She patrolled the lanes well and rebounded her area with great efficiency. She projects to be a modern center- protect the rim and hit outside shots- while providing low post offense.
