I saw #2, Leonna Sneed Leonna Sneed 5'6" | PG SA Wagner | 2025 State TX , during the viewing period and to be honest, I caught only a few of the EYBL and other shoe teams’ players as this is becoming even more spread out. With that being said, many positions have been solidified because I don’t need to see players a hundred times to know what I’m looking at because one more time, I am a REAL evaluator
Kenidi Glover Kenidi Glover 6'0" | PF Duncanville | 2025 State TX is on her way to returning, she had an injury during the club season yet her BEASTLIKE efforts still have me going crazy as she was one of the most dominant inside players in Texas last season and I will get a chance to see many of the players during the tournaments I plan on covering this season read more
Although I don’t have to see players a hundred times, I still need to see many that I haven’t seen enough of so I adjusted some spots and 4 players moved into the Top 20
#9 Nmesoma Okola Nmesoma Okola 6'1" | C Glenn | 2025 State TX -6’1 PF (Glenn) Phoenix (up from #25)
Okola is just a physical specimen, contrary to rumor, there aren’t plenty of players like her around. She’s long and athletic, remember I call that the base, yet she’s ULTRA athletic and her ability to REGROUP after going for steals and blocks are among, if not the top, in the state. With her UPS and timing, she can block, alter and (or) deflect countless shots over and over but that same elevation enables her to not only rebound and go coast to coast to score but score on putbacks. Nice hands and footwork around the basket, she’s attacking strongly from the wing for a bonus
#12 Taylor Barnes Taylor Barnes 6'1" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2025 State TX – 5’10 SF (South Grand Prairie) up from #23
Barnes has the next level frame as well as the game and her progression will keep elevating her status. She has a nice midrange game, she understands how to create her shot and get it off with ease yet she also can score from multiple spots on the court by attacking and finishing after contact. Solid rebounder and defender, she can step outside the paint and apply heat on the ball baseline to baseline
#18 Sadie Sanchez Sadie Sanchez 5'6" | PG Randall | 2025 State TX -5’6 PG (Randall) Hoop 10 (up from #21)
Sanchez has taken her game to yet another level and with her range beyond the NBA line, she is becoming more difficult to contain. In transition, the stop and pop work yet she also throws blistering “no look” passes on the money in traffic. Her crossover and HEZ , hesitation, are a work of art and it gets the defender off balance, and watching her use her body control and finish acrobatically places her in the “highlight waiting to happen” category
#20 Kinsea Logan Kinsea Logan 6'1" | C Mansfield Lakeridge | 2025 State TX -6’1 PF (Mansfield Lakeridge) Team Lex (up from #24)
Logan excelled during the viewing period and being placed in the right position showed how effective she truly is. Her game is nearing her college-ready frame, I talking #D1Lock, and observing her play the passing lane and go after loose balls told me a lot about what’s coming. She’s finishing stronger, after contact, rebounding on both ends, and even showed she could face the basket and score
