Jasmine just plays the game the way she does and that’s making plays for her and her teammates. She was able to touch the paint at will and drop off some dimes to teammates all day long.
Frierson plays the game with a good feel and really understands when to attack the cup, push the ball or just pull it back out and set the table. Look for her recruitment to start moving upward this season. Jasmine is a very nice addition to the Lady Red Foxes roster this season and Head Coach Justin Johnson roster.
Bennon made the move this summer over to Christ Church after playing at Legacy Early College. Alexandria is quick off the dribble at times and turning the corner to get to the basket. She can set up shop out on the wing and knockdown some shots if you leave her open.
Highlights
Rickell really brought some intensity to the SCBCA Elite Camp today. She played more on the ball at the point guard spot today than I’ve ever seen her play. She has good explosion in the open court to get by defenders and make plays.
Rickell just plays the game extremely hard and never looks to take a play off. Oh yeah watch out when she gets going from the perimeter it could be a long night for defenders.
Tacoya makes winning plays on the floor it seems all the time. Heyward rebounds the ball well from the guard spot, takes a charge, picks up a steal, grabs a loose a ball or just makes a bucket.
She won’t overwhelm you with anything she really does but she’s very effective with her play and production while on the court.
Morris always brings her best game when Prep Girls Hoops is in attendance. Victoria really showed her perimeter skills knocking down several three pointers on the day.
She has a good feel for the game and understands where to be on the floor to make a play for her team. When she wasn’t hitting the 3-ball she used a nice mid-range game to score some buckets.
Diggs really came to play today with her aggressive and ability to score the ball from all 3 levels. She was able to slash to the cup or stop and pop some nice mid-range jumpers along the way.
Kierra has good length to handle the ball up the floor at times in transition. She used some crafty bounce passes today while showing a nice skill set. Kierra still has her best basketball in front of her down the road.
Karis played extremely active on both ends of the floor today. She was able to hit the boards and run the floor in transition.
Alexander a left-handed wing player feels most comfortable at times playing out on the perimeter.
Ignacio really understands the game very well when it comes to passing the rock or making some simple shots. She’s not flashy at all with her play but she’s effective. Liliana plays the game with a competitive edge and won’t back backdown from anything thrown at her. Look for her to be in the next addition Stock-Risers.
