Alexander is a left-handed rangy forward. Karis plays well around the basket and looks to stalk the baseline at times. She plays active in the passing lanes where she can pick up some deflections along the way. Karis plays best around the rim while remaining active at all times.

There has been plenty of Blue Eagles representation on the Charlotte Dream Elite rosters as of late – including Alexander (including Clover teammates Marcia Watt Marcia Watt 5'6" | CG Clover | 2024 State SC and Samara Lucas Samara Lucas 5'11" | PF Clover | 2025 State SC ). Her athleticism greatly helps the Clover cause and one way this shines through is how effective she can be with her footwork. On both the defensive and offensive glasses, she can bring down rebounds. She also has mastered the art of converting on high-percentage bucket opportunities. Alexander is listed at 5-foot-9 and primarily plays at the three. She can turn offensive boards into two-point putbacks. Incoming coach Shakkia Walker should be excited for what she will get from this multi-skilled veteran.

Karis Alexander Karis Alexander 5'8" | SF Clover | 2024 State SC  reads the floor well knowing which moves to show off even when moving quickly in transition.  She had a nice move on a fast break getting the pass with her back to the basket and used power dribbles to spin, create space, and score.  She was persistent grabbing rebounds even on the offensive side of the ball being ready to put it right back up through the hoop.  She did a nice job grabbing rebounds and pushing it up the court, and her ability to block shots was certainly on display.

Karis played extremely active on both ends of the floor today. She was able to hit the boards and run the floor in transition.

Alexander a left-handed wing player feels most comfortable at times playing out on the perimeter.

When a coach assumes a role at a new school, it gives her or him an opportunity to examine her or his roster. The 2022-23 season will be the maiden voyage for the Shakkia Walker era at Clover and she is sure to be pleased with what she has in Alexander. She has ran grassroots with Charlotte Dream Elite 16U. Alexander is one who will put her footwork to good use in the interior. Her activity enables her to haul in offensive rebounds and convert those into two-point putbacks. Alexander will find playing time as a wing and looks to receive feeds from teammates.

Karis Alexander Karis Alexander 5'8" | SF Clover | 2024 State SC was dominant grabbing rebounds for her team, and she did a nice job clogging the paint stopping people from driving to the basket.  She had a clutch backdoor move at the end of the first half extending the lead for her team as she finished at the rim.
