Here we look at the top performances by the athletes in the class of 2028.

[player_tooltip player_id='248358' first='Serena' last='Volcy'] – 5'7 Forward (David Lawrence / Florida Lady Huskies)

Volcy was active and aggressive all throughout the two day event. She was in and around the ball constantly on both ends of the court. She did a good job attacking in transition and in the half court off the dribble. She has excellent handle, good 1v1 moves and is quick and explosive, consistently showcasing the ability get by her defenders and into the paint, creating scoring opportunities for herself and easy shots for her teammates.

Janiyah Johnson – 5'8 Forward (Savannah Country Day / Essence)

Johnson was a new face for me but I left impressed as she is a young prospect with great length and athleticism. At 5'8, she was one of the tallest and athletic players in her division, and did a good job utilizing both attributes on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.

Alaliah Fernandes – 5'5 Guard (SLAM! Miami / Miami Impact)

Fernandes was one the most productive and skilled perimeter players in the younger division. She has a great overall offensive skill set, having the ability to put the ball in the basket in a multitude of ways. She is a deep 3-point threat with the ability to put the ball the floor and pull up off 1-2 dribbles, as well as take it all the way to the rim. She sees the floor well, is a good decision maker with good court vision and a high IQ, and just has a natural ability that make her a potential big time prospect.

Ja'Aoniyah Eady – 5'3 Guard (McClane Middle School / Florida Aces)

Eady was by the best prospect I saw all weekend that I had not seen before and was a new face. She absolutely dominated the younger division, showcasing a skill set and athleticism far superior to the competition level. Eady is long, athletic, highly skilled and extremely productive on the offensive end. She scored at will ever time she touched it at an extremely high efficiently level and in a variety of ways. She did not just rely on attacking off the dribble, she scored from the inside, from the outside, off the dribble, off the catch, at the 3-point line and at the rim. Eady is a big time prospect who is the early front runner for the # 1 player in the class of 2028.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246253' first='Jordyn' last='Brooks'] – 5'3 Point Guard (James Weldon Middle School)

Brooks was feisty and aggressive on both ends of the court, applying consistent ball pressure on the opposing teams main ball handlers, and consistently looked to score off the dribble on the offensive end. She is a small, quick, athletic point guard who can handle the ball, gets the ball to open players, pushes in transition and finds opportunities to score herself.
