<p>Quick look at several of the local private schools in the Oklahoma City area that compete in the OSSAA. I would like to thank the coaches for their time in helping provide an in-sight to the upcoming season. Several players I have seen on the circuit or coached against in regular season. </p>

<p><strong>Bishop McGuinness:</strong> 21-22 season (6-17) (Regionals) Head Coach Jade Carter</p>

<p>Coach Carter inherits a Lady Irish team that is still young but gained valuable experience last season under Richard Henderson. [player_tooltip player_id='318167' first='Victoria' last='Ososanya'] (2024) returns as the team leading scorer from last season as a sophomore. <strong><em>Madison Moore</em></strong> (2023) is a very versatile player who can play the 3-5 position. <strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='781671' first='Clare' last='Kierl'] </em></strong>(2024) returns at the point guard position and is looking to make a big jump this season. [player_tooltip player_id='198419' first='Kate' last='Fletcher'] (2023) is the team's best 3 point shooter and provides senior leadership as well. It may take awhile for the Lady Irish to find their identify but they do have the pieces to make a run when playoffs come.</p>

<p><strong>Christian Heritage Academy:</strong> 21-22 season (8-18) (Regionals) Lisa Littlejim</p>

<p>Christian Heritage Academy returns 3 starters (<em><strong>Morgan Hale</strong></em> 2024 5'11, <strong><em>Natalie French</em></strong> 2023 5'7, <strong><em>Ashton Bullard</em></strong> 2025 5'5) off last season team. CHA height presence this season should allow them to be more vertisle this season in their offense. Expect them to cause tough matchup problems for their opponents on the defensive end as well. The experience and team chemistry gained from last season should make them a much improved team this season. </p>

<p><strong>Community Christian School:</strong> 21-22 season (19-9) (Area) Chad Thrailkill</p>

<p>Coach Thrailkil enters his second season at the helm of the Lady Royals going 19-9 while reaching the second round of area. Possible starting line could consist of 3 sophomore who gained experience last year as freshman and 2 incoming freshman. [player_tooltip player_id='315200' first='Preslee' last='Hartsock'] (2025) leadership and experience will be needed at the point guard position. Guards <em><strong>Sadie Thrailkil</strong></em> (2025) and <strong><em>Sarah Davison</em></strong> (2025) will also be counted as the younger players develop learning the up-tempo pace. CCS moves up a class from 3a to the tough 4a class this season but their rugged season should have them game tested come playoffs. Up-tempo style of offense and pressure defense will make them fun to watch this season. </p>

<p><strong>Crossings Christian School:</strong> 21-22 season (12-11) (Regionals) Justin Williams</p>

<p>Coming off their first winning in the young program history, Coach Williams in his second season will look to build off that momentum. Lady Knights lost 4 seniors and 3 starters off last season district championship team. Returning starters <strong><em>Allison Hickey</em></strong> (2024) and <strong><em>Gracie Maschmeier</em></strong> (2023) will be heavily counted on early as the team gains experience.. Allison Hickey almost averaged a double double (8pts, 8rbs) last season and Gracie Maschmeier will be asked to provide senior leadership. Several young players will be asked to step in to replace the graduated seniors. Keep an eye on this program as the young players gain experience during the season. </p>

<p><strong>Heritage Hall:</strong> 21-22 season (7-15) (Regionals) Parker Cassell</p>

<p>Heritage Hall will be a much improved team this season, returning 7 of their top 8 players from last season. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='464081' first='Reagan' last='Fowler'] will provide the leadership at the point guard position. [player_tooltip player_id='525659' first='Lainey' last='Portman'] at 5'10 is a very a athletic skilled player who missed all of last season with an ACL. She is coming off a great summer look for her to have an immediate impact. <strong><em>Marly Moore</em></strong> (2025) is a 3 point shooter scoring in double digits several time last year as a freshman. Heritage Hall tough schedule will have them tested and ready come playoff time. Class 4a is loaded but don't sleep on these Lady Chargers. </p>

<p><strong>Mount St Mary's</strong>: 21-22 season (7-16) Richard Henderson</p>

<p>Coach Henderson moves over from cross town rival Bishop McGuinness to take over a young talented Mt St Mary's team. The team returns 3 starters off last season team gained valuable experience last season,. [player_tooltip player_id='315195' first='Kylie' last='Ross'] (2025) is a scoring threat from with a jump shot or attacking to the basket, Kylie scored a career high 35 points vs NRC last season. <strong><em>Sienna Easley</em></strong> (2025) is a combo guard who can do little bit of everything. Easley can mix it up in inside as well as step out and shoot the 3. Senior <strong><em>Maria Roquemore</em></strong> (2023) will provide the senior leadership for the young Lady Rockets. Developing several other players to go along with the 3 returners could be the key for the Lady Rockets </p>

<p>OCA is coming off an amazing run last season falling just 2 games short of reaching state. The Lady Eagles will look for players to fill the roles of heavy graduating class from last season. <strong><em> Amainnii Peterson</em></strong> returning player to watch for the Lady Eagles</p>

<p>Ashley Dublin takes over as the head coach for the Lady Saints. <strong><em>Jackie Johnson</em></strong> (2024) good strong rebounder returns at the post position.. <strong><em>Ava McIntyre</em></strong> (2025) also returns coming off a sensational season averaging over 20 points last season. </p>
