She already holds a state title in basketball along with two track and field state titles in the 400m & 800m. Recently, Henderson went for 29 points (13-16 FG) and 6 boards in a Salpointe Catholic 97-13 win over Walden Grove. Offensively, Henderson is bigger, faster and stronger than nearly all of her opponents. She can finish through contact in the lane as well as even stretch the defense from 3. Defensively, Henderson is tall and lengthy. Her court presence in the paint alone alters opponents shots. Henderson currently holds offers from BYU, Hampton, Utah, San Diego, Southern Utah, and Utah Valley.
2) 6’1 F Hannah Williams Hannah Williams 6'1" | PF Salpointe Catholic | 2025 State AZ (Salpointe Catholic): At 6’1 Williams is one of the best wing prospects in the class of 2025. Williams has the ability to guard any position on the court as well as play any position on the court. This versatility makes her an elite college basketball prospect in the class of 2025. In her first four games to the start of the season, Hannah is averaging 11 Pts, 8rbs and 1blk a game. I anticipate Williams having a big year and continuing to grab attention from college coaches from all over the nation.
3) 5’9 G Olivia Owens Olivia Owens 5'10" | PG Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ (Phoenix Country Day): Owens is one of the best guard prospects in the class of 2025. Owen’s is an opposing point guards worst nightmare. She plays with a ton of energy and is so quick laterally. Offensively, Owens is instant offense and can score in bunches. She has a nice stroke from the perimeter and is quick off the dribble that she is nearly impossible to stay in front of. Owens spent her offseason playing for one of the best AAU programs in the country and playing two levels up on Arizona Elite 17u Black. Owens is poised for a breakout sophomore season playing with 2A Phoenix Country Day. Owens currently holds offers from: UC Santa Barbara and Hampton.
4) 5’9 G Michaela Fairwell Michaela Fairwell 5'10" | SG Dutch Fork | 2025 State SC (Desert Vista): Fairwell is another electric guard in the state of Arizona. Offensively, Fairwell is best with the ball in her hands. Whether that means getting downhill and finishing at the rim or pulling up off the dribble. Defensively, Fairwell is elite with her lateral quickness and length. Her length allows her to jump passing lanes while her quickness allows her to recover. As a freshman, Fairwell averaged 10pts a game for Desert Vista. Desert Vista is loaded with talent this year which means Fairwell gets to go up against the best of the best every single day. I’d anticipate Fairwell to make huge strides into her game this year and continue to climb the ladder as one of the best guard prospects in the class of 2025.
5) 5’10 G Sidney Anderson Sidney Anderson 5'10" | CG Salpointe Catholic | 2025 State AZ (Ironwood Ridge): Anderson is as smooth as it comes in a shooter in the class of 2025. She is elite at getting to her spots and pulling up off the dribble. Anderson thrives on the perimeter looking to knock down big threes. She shows glimpses of Stanford great Karlie Samuelson with her ability to knock down shots from the perimeter at such a high percentage. Anderson is already a 3-Level scorer as a sophomore and I only see her game improving as she gets older and stronger. Expect Anderson to continue to climb as a top prospect in the nation and grab division-1 offers in the near future.
6) 5’7 G Aiyanna Perkins Aiyanna Perkins 5'7" | CG Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ (McClintock): Perkins is one of the best scoring guards in the class of 2025. She can knock down shots from the perimeter, explode past her defenders for layups, and finish through contact in the lane. Defensively, Perkins is deceptively quick and does a really good job of staying in front of defenders. On the defensive side of the ball Perkins is physical and rebounds the ball really well for a guard. As a freshman, Perkins averaged 23 points a game for McClintock as a freshman.
7) 5’7 G Clara Mae Hrouch (Catalina Foothills): Clara Mae Hrouch is a top guard prospect in the class of 2025. Hrouch is explosive with the ball in her hands and can get to the basket with ease. Defensively, she is quick and can stay in front of the best of the best. As a freshman she averaged 14pts a game. I anticipate Hrouch having a big sophomore season this year and continuing to rise as one of the best guards in the class of 2025.
8) 5’9 G Saniya Jones Saniya Jones 5'11" | SG Desert Vista | 2025 State AZ (Betty Fairfax): Jones is as elite as it comes at the guard position. She is a lights-out shooter from the perimeter and can handle the ball well. She is really good at finding spots to get open for her post players to hit her for open threes. If she’s open from 3, goodnight. Defensively, she is lengthy, quick and aggressive. Jones is excellent at using her length to poke steals that creates easy transition baskets for her squad. As a freshman, Jones averaged 13pts and 5stls a game.
9) 5’10 G Heather Stedman Heather Stedman 5'10" | CG Pinnacle | 2025 State AZ (Pinnacle): Stedman is a must know name in the near future. She is averaging 23.5pts/5rbs a game to the start of her sophomore year on a very talented Pinnacle squad. Stedman is a lights-out shooter from the perimeter and can really score it from anywhere. As a freshman she was selected to the All-Region 1st team for 6A Desert Valley. Look for Stedman to continue to evolve as one of the best shooters in the state.
10) 5’8 G Hannah Strauss Hannah Strauss 5'8" | PG Perry | 2025 State AZ (Perry): Strauss is a really good floor-general type guard in the class of 2025. She is super smart with the ball and rarely turns it over. When she gets into the paint, she has exquisite vision being able to find open teammates for easy baskets. Strauss can also create for herself and blow by her defenders for layups and knock down shots from the perimeter. Strauss has a very high ceiling over the next few years and is a name to keep an eye out for.
