Sidney is what you call a hooper. She never backs down from a challenge, and if there’s a game to be played, she will show up. She doesn’t ask who’s playing because she’s going at any and everyone. She is known for her shooting touch, which rivals anyone in the state. Her ball handling has improved so much that I wouldn’t be surprised if she is on the ball more at the next level. She will be taking her talents down I-17 to Phoenix and will suit up for the Grand Canyon University Antelopes.

Anderson is a big guard who flashed the potential to be a high-level combo guard at the collegiate level. She handled the ball very well and had some very nice passes. As usual, her shooting stroke was top-level from all three levels. The Grand Canyon University commit was voted 1^st team all 4A conference and 4A Kino region player of the year.

Sidney Anderson Sidney Anderson 5'11" | SG Salpointe Catholic | 2025 State AZ is the best pure shooter in Arizona in my opinion. She has tremendous touch and technique on her jump shot. She hits from 3 point range on a high level, but she can also hit mid range shots which is a lost art, and she can finish on drives to the basket. She has signed with Grand Canyon University.

The senior reminded those that forgot that she might be the best shooter in the state. Every shot that left her hand looked like it was going in and most of them did to the tune of 75% 3pt shooting percentage. Her defense is where she really shined with her 5 steals, a block and overall aggressiveness.

Sidney Anderson Sidney Anderson 5'11" | SG Salpointe Catholic | 2025 State AZ is one of the best shooters in the state of Arizona. She has tremendous range and can create off the dribble. She has an incredible motor and can get up the floor quickly with the ball. She can play the Point or Shooting Guard and is very versatile on defense. The Grand Canyon University commit is a high level player that is an excellent communicator as well.

Sid can shoot with the best of them and gets her shot off easily. She shoots it nicely whether her feet are set or on the move. She has maybe the deepest range in the state as it extends well beyond the three-point line.
