Part 1 we touched base on Minot, Century, Bismarck, Legacy, St.Mary and Dickinson. Let's take a look at the rest of the WDA, and the statistical leaders up to this point.

Manda High School: Mandan started off their season at home against #5 West Fargo Sheyenne in a big home outscoring the Mustangs 66-58. Probably the biggest excitement of the night other than the win was Junior [player_tooltip player_id='219710' first='Jayden' last='Wiest'] making her comeback after sitting out all of last year due to injury. She put up 25 points and was 5/8 from deep and tallied up 5 assists. I think it's safe to say welcome back Jayden! Their next game was a tough physical game against Bismarck High where they fell short 46-62. The Braves are shooting 28.6% from the field and led in scoring by [player_tooltip player_id='219710' first='Jayden' last='Wiest'], [player_tooltip player_id='245588' first='Mckenna' last='Johnson'], [player_tooltip player_id='478132' first='Emma' last='Bogner'] and Hailey Markle. (Due to a Blizzard 2 of their games have been rescheduled)

Watford City: The Wolves started their season off traveling to Sidney, MT for a non-conference game where they picked up a 52-41 win. Following that they took on Legacy at Legacy in a hard-fought game but came up short 40-86. The Wolves are looking to hit their stride this year with some talented shooters and size to match. Unfortunately, 2 of their games were also rescheduled due to blizzard conditions. So far, the Wolves are shooting 34% from the field and led by [player_tooltip player_id='219713' first='Jessica' last='Mogen'], [player_tooltip player_id='195431' first='Gracen' last='Breitbach'] and [player_tooltip player_id='379966' first='Bailey' last='Mattson'] in the scoring column.

TMCHS: Much like other teams TMCHS has had 2 of their games rescheduled as well and are 0-2 to start the season. TMCHS played a hard-fought close game against Dickinson 54-64, and against Century 47-98. With their next game not scheduled till January 6th against Watford City, they will be looking for almost a fresh start to their season and come back in 2023 ready to pick up tallies in the win column. So far in the 2 games they have played they are shooting 32.7% from the field and lead by Tiyahha Trottier, Quinn Laducer and All-Stater [player_tooltip player_id='377821' first='Amya' last='Gourneau'].

Jamestown: The Blue jays are off and flying for the 22-23' season! They kicked off their year against St. Mary's in a close game 49-62, followed by another battle against Bismarck High in a loss 48-63. The Blue jays are looking to hit their stride in the next coming weeks against Valley City in a non-conference match up, followed by Minot high on the 22nd. Jamestown has all the pieces to the puzzle, and are led by scorers [player_tooltip player_id='100461' first='Ella' last='Falk'], [player_tooltip player_id='100464' first='Katie' last='Falk'] and Breanna Oettle. On the inside [player_tooltip player_id='100461' first='Ella' last='Falk'] has already picked up 27 rebounds in 2 games, she keeps that up she will be a huge tool for the blue jays this season.
