Here’s just a handful of top performances by freshman and sophomore’s only I have watched live, been sent by the player, or seen on Twitter. There are MANY other players who have stood out that I missed as well. Here’s some of Devin’s Standouts over the last couple games!
Brooke is a very impressive freshman so far this season. She is playing like one of the best players within her class. She is one of the best shooters, regardless of class in my eyes. She can really shoot it well from deep, being extremely efficient. Against Casecade HS, she had 22 points including dropping 6 threes on the night.

This Lake Washington team is so stacked. They have so many different players who can display their talents and have breakout games. Roberts plays good minutes despite only being a sophomore. She dropped 16 points and 13 rebounds against Bellevue. I do think we will be seeing more double-double performances from Reese this season.
Kaia has been playing EXTREMELY well so far this season. Her and fellow 2025 graduate Malia Rudd have been an unstoppable duo. Foster had a huge double-double against Southridge, dropping 20 points and 14 rebounds. I don’t think this will be her last game putting up these types of numbers
This Union HS freshman guard has been dominating to start the year. She has been stuffing the stat sheet, breaking school records, and most importantly winning games. Against Battle Ground, she dropped 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. She scores 20-30 nightly, so she will likely be featured in another article this season.

Here’s another Lake Washington standout. They have players at every classification that could contribute any night. Freshman Uusitalo had an awesome summer with TeamStuck, showing a lot of improvement. Against Meadowdale HS, she contributed 18 points in one of her first varsity games. She has a very bright future.
