Macee is a long, athletic forward that provides a lot of value on the court. She will make the right pass to teammates and bring the effort needed to help the team be successful. She plays her role, using her body to set screens, then rolling to the basket or popping for the shot. She can stretch the floor and has range. She is a ready shooter and will consistently light it up from deep. When rolling to the basket she is aggressive and has good hands and footwork to finish.
Halyn is a high-IQ point guard that can mix it up and get things done on the court. She is poised, a play-maker, and she can shoot from the outside. When Halyn gets going, she is hard to stop – pure shot mechanics with range. Defensively she is capable of getting deflections, steals, and will get low and guard the ball the length of the court. She leads by example and sets the tone for her team. This summer she lead a very talented Team Trae Young on the Adidas circuit and she plans to continue in her sophomore season at Luther High School.
Kylie is a point guard that will surprise you and if you aren’t paying attention, she can easily get over looked. You would be making a mistake because there is loads of value she brings to the table. She is under control and plays at her own pace. She knows how to make you underestimate her. If you are playing her too close, she will attack. And if you are off of her too far, then she will light one in your eye – and at the same time, she will find the open player. Her shooting ability is very special. I enjoy watching her play and as a coach – I want the ball in her hands.
Highlights
Macy is a savvy point guard that plays under control and with confidence. She plays with her head up and can find the open teammate. Defensively she is active and isn’t afraid to guard. She rotates and has quick instincts on and off the ball. What makes Macy special is her unselfishness and her shooting ability. She will hit big shot after big shot and does it consistently. Definitely an underrated point guard that has been working on her game. This year she will be starting at the point guard at Broken Arrow High School – this decision instantly has made the Tigers a better team and should be respected as a contender at the 6A level.
Addy is a floor general that controls the pace of the game and distributes the ball, has a high-basketball IQ and is a willing passer. She is deceptively athletic and has long arms. She uses her length the take the vision away defensively and is able make tough passes over the defense when in tough situations with the ball. She is a competitor and plays without fear on both ends of the court.
