I will be taking a look all season for the top performances as the season progresses. Here’s just a handful of top performances I have watched live, been sent by the player, or seen on Twitter. There are MANY other players who have stood out that I missed as well. Here’s some of Devin’s Standouts!
She’s another player within the 2023 class who might deserve a little jump in the rankings. Amanda (Mandi) is a top 20 player within the class in my eyes when I watch her on the court. Against Bethel HS she contributed 26 points, 5 rebounds, and even 4 steals on defense. She’s only getting better as the season goes on!
Brooklynn is just a freshman at Union HS but she’s already making a name for herself. Haywood does everything on the court EXTREMELY well for a freshman. Her game is so advanced. She makes all of her teammates a lot better too. In her second varsity game ever, she broke the school record by scoring 35 points in the game. It’s important to note that the opposing team only scored 36 points. Something tells me Brooklynn might beat her own record at some point.
Check out her highlights from the game below:

I know she’s not a senior or a freshman but I wanted to include Portia. Portia also had a great game in their overtime loss to Hazen. Portia is one of my favorite players to watch on the court. She attacks the bucket great and is always looking to get her teammates involved. She had 16 points, 6 steals, and 5 assists during the game. She’s a sophomore to keep an eye on this year.
