Thursday we released the Winter rankings update for the Class of 2025. There were more than 25 new additions, plus a few players who raised their “stock”, so to speak, so subsequently there was some movement throughout the list. I wanted to take this time to circle back and address all of the ranked prospects, position by position. Below is a look at 33 shooting guard prospects who make up 22.0% of the rankings this time around, with analysis on a handful to “keep an eye on” detailed at the bottom.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
Jacklynn has really taken off in Year-2, and what’s scary is, she might still be growing, plus she definitely still has a lot of potential to add strength. She is extremely long and wiry right now, but she does have fairly broad shoulders. She has good end-to-end speed, solid quickness, and she just has a natural feel for the game. While her outside shooting could be more consistent, she has made 28 3-pointers this year, plus she’s an 82% free throw shooter. So, as she continues to gain strength, look for her to be even more dangerous outside and add some range to her shot.
Highlights
Jersey has played “up” over the years in grassroots ball, and it has helped her with adjusting to the speed and size of the high school game. She doesn’t mind physicality and can get a little feisty at times, she is a very good perimeter shooter, and she has a nice awareness to her game. This season, she is actually handling the ball a lot more, executing the offense, and finding teammates regularly. She leads the Lady Chargers at 3.4 assists per game, but she has still found time to knock down 30 3-pointers in just 13 games, and she has more than doubled her scoring from last year.
