13.1 RPG. Macy uses her strong build and agility to fight on the boards. She grabs rebounds right off of the rim on both ends of the floor and she just has a knack for getting the ball. Macy works so hard and is currently the top rebounder going into the LIT.
12.5 RPG. Jones elevates to get rebounds as soon as they come off of the rim or the glass. She fights for positioning and seems to be able to come up with just about any rebound that’s even remotely close to the area she’s in. Jones is an invaluable rebounder for Central.
12.2 RPG. Taylor is very long and she can elevate to grab rebounds over everyone else on the floor. When she grabs them on the offensive end, she’s able to get quick put-backs. On the defensive end, she can grab them and then push the pace in transition.
10.3 RPG. Knight works extremely hard on the boards. Opponents will try to move her to keep her from getting rebounds, but she holds her ground and fights to get the ball. Knight uses her strength to pull rebounds away from the opponent and she really secures the ball once she grabs it.
8.3 RPG. White is extremely long, but she also has good strength. When she has her arms extended, she can grab rebounds even when she’s being boxed out. If a rebound comes around the basket, there’s a good chance White is going to come away with it.
8.1 RPG. Bolin moves to get to rebounds and she can also elevate to grab them over everyone else. She does a good job of grabbing them off of the rim rather than waiting for the ball to come to her. Bolin can get around a box out, but she can also just beat everyone else to the ball.
Highlights
8 RPG. Lind’s rebounding ability is very evident when you watch her play. She has really solid players with good size around her, but she still leads Cooper in rebounding and scoring. Lind uses her length to grab rebounds and she does a great job recognizing where the ball is going off of the rim to get to them.
7.9 RPG. Johnson really just uses her IQ and agility to go after rebounds strong. Even when she’s not inside of the paint when the shot goes up, she’s still able to beat people to the ball. Johnson is not her team’s primary big, but she can certainly grab rebounds efficiently all throughout the game and on both ends of the floor.
Savannah Shawver

7.6 RPG. Shawver really works hard on the boards. She can use her leaping ability to grab the ball right off of the rim. Shawver doesn’t give up and is certainly capable of coming up with double digit rebounds in any given game.
7.5 RPG. Douglas is the 2nd Central player on this list which is impressive in itself. She gets some really tough boards through pure will. Douglas is typically outside of the paint when the shot goes up, but she can get past defenders to secure the rebound.
