Below is a look at each of the Sectionals that will feed into the Greencastle Regional the following weekend. This includes the Class 3A teams from Sectionals #25-#28. Please stay tuned, as this weekend we will have a quick synopsis of each of the remaining Sectionals across classes 3A, 2A, and 1A.

.

Sectional #25 at Lebanon:
Game-1: Lebanon (10-12) vs. Western Boone (16-6)
Game-2: Crawfordsville (7-15) vs. Danville (19-4)
Game-3: Tri-West (6-16) vs. Monrovia (15-7)
Game-4: Cascade (20-2) vs. Winner Game-1
Game-5: Winner Game-2 vs. Winner Game-3
Game-6: Winner Game-4 vs. Winner Game-5

Overview: Sectional #25 looks to have a strong pair of teams at the top. Cascade came away with a huge 66-61 victory over Danville on January 18th, helping them to a 5-0 season against Sectional #25 opponents. At the same time, a potential Saturday rematch could be even closer. Cascade has a slew of Seniors and Juniors with great experience. [player_tooltip player_id='127231' first='Abby' last='Parsons'] (14.7p, 5.1r, 2.0a, 2.1s) and [player_tooltip player_id='59786' first='Sydney' last='Warran'] (14.6p, 6.8r, 3.8a, 2.5s) are each in their fourth year of Varsity action, and they hope to lead the Cadets to their first title since 2007, and their first ever title in Class 3A, now that they've bumped up due to enrollment numbers. Danville has several Sectional and Regional titles over the past decade, and they too have a Senior with major experience in [player_tooltip player_id='59791' first='Isabelle' last='Wooten'] (9.9p, 6.0r, 2.8a, 2.6s). She is battling through injury, but fellow Senior [player_tooltip player_id='496005' first='Cameryn' last='Rector'] (12.5p, 2.1a), plus Sophomore Addison Davis (10.6p, 5.5r, 2.5s) have really stepped up this season. Boone County rivals Lebanon and Western Boone probably have the best chance at upsetting either of those two schools, as both also have a great deal of Senior experience on their side. Those two will meet in the very first game of Sectional #25 Tuesday night. Western Boone's Emmy Roys (11.5p, 11.8r) averages an impressive double-double.

Sectional #25 Players to Watch:
Cascade - [player_tooltip player_id='127231' first='Abby' last='Parsons'], 2023 - 14.7p, 5.1r, 2.0a, 2.1s
Cascade - [player_tooltip player_id='59786' first='Sydney' last='Warran'], 2023 - 14.6p, 6.8r, 3.8a, 2.5s
Cascade - [player_tooltip player_id='177315' first='Creedance' last='Chittenden'], 2024 - 9.0p, 2.7r, 2.3a
Crawfordsville - Taylor Abston, 2024 - 12.5p, 8.8r, 2.2b
Danville - [player_tooltip player_id='496005' first='Cameryn' last='Rector'], 2023 - 12.5p, 2.1a
Danville - Addison Davis, 2025 - 10.6p, 5.5r, 2.5s
Danville - [player_tooltip player_id='59791' first='Isabelle' last='Wooten'], 2023 - 9.9p, 6.0r, 2.8a, 2.6s
Danville - [player_tooltip player_id='295784' first='Emma' last='Ancelet'], 2025 - 9.3p, 4.1r, 5.7a, 2.7s
Danville - [player_tooltip player_id='201882' first='Kooper' last='Stone'], 2024 - 7.7p, 5.3r, 2.4a, 2.1s
Lebanon - Kylie Ottinger, 2023 - 7.0p, 3.4r, 2.1a, 2.2s
Lebanon - Alexandria Barr, 2023 - 6.6p, 4.8r
Lebanon - Maiya Newsom, 2023 - 6.5p, 3.7r, 2.7a, 3.0s
Monrovia - [player_tooltip player_id='574557' first='Ashley' last='Lewis'], 2023 - 14.9p, 5.0r, 2.1s
Monrovia - Emery Newlin, 2025 - 11.5p, 3.5r, 4.4a, 5.1s
Tri-West - [player_tooltip player_id='496043' first='Lauren' last='Bear'], 2025 - 12.0p, 3.8r, 2.2s
Tri-West - [player_tooltip player_id='572808' first='Regan' last='Canada'], 2024 - 8.7p
Tri-West - Ava Sullivan, 2023 - 6.0p, 7.3r
Western Boone - Emmy Roys, 2023 - 11.5p, 11.8r
Western Boone - [player_tooltip player_id='574563' first='Katheryn' last='Rutherford'], 2023 - 10.8p, 8.5r, 3.4a, 3.2s
Western Boone - Carlie Pennington, 2023 - 9.6p, 6.4r

.

Sectional #26 at Owen Valley:
Game-1: South Vermillion (0-23) vs. Brown County (12-9)
Game-2: West Vigo (9-14) vs. Edgewood (3-18)
Game-3: Indian Creek (22-1) vs. Owen Valley (11-13)
Game-4: Northview (15-8) vs. Winner Game-1
Game-5: Winner Game-2 vs. Winner Game-3
Game-6: Winner Game-4 vs. Winner Game-5

Overview: Sectional #26 is all about Indian Creek and their ability to finish this thing off. They are highly ranked, they've had an outstanding season, only losing to Class 4A Westfield by three points, and they are 5-0 against Sectional #26 opponents, with the closest outcome being a 46-29 victory over Northview. Indiana University commit [player_tooltip player_id='201885' first='Faith' last='Wiseman'] (16.0p, 9.9r, 2.7a, 2.5b), a Junior, is as tough of a matchup as they come, standing 6-4 with inside-out skill. Fellow Junior [player_tooltip player_id='239346' first='Lauren' last='Foster'] (19.7p, 3.1r, 4.3a, 2.4s) continues to put up impressive and consistent numbers throughout her career. Northview would be the best team other than Indian Creek, and the Lady Knights are 5-1 against Sectional #26 competition. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='178240' first='Audri' last='Spencer'] (18.5p, 5.4r, 3.9a, 2.9s) does a nice job of both scoring and distributing the ball, while Sophomore transfer [player_tooltip player_id='570371' first='Brynlee' last='Clarke'] (13.1p, 4.6r) is a rising star for the Knights. Also keep an eye on Brown County. They have talent and a little depth, though with their youthfulness, they might be a year away from making a run at this crown. Also keep an eye on Owen Valley Senior [player_tooltip player_id='178242' first='Reagan' last='Martin'] (18.7p, 9.0r, 2.5b), who has had an outstanding career.

Sectional #26 Players to Watch:
Brown County - Lexie Austin, 2024
Brown County - [player_tooltip player_id='1122858' first='Ava' last='Stogsdill'], 2026
Brown County - Maddie Huff, 2024
Edgewood - Madison Bland, 2026 - 7.5p, 4.1r
Edgewood - [player_tooltip player_id='832680' first='Macey' last='Crider'], 2026 - 7.5p, 6.0r
Indian Creek - [player_tooltip player_id='201885' first='Faith' last='Wiseman'], 2024 - 16.0p, 9.9r, 2.7a, 2.5b
Indian Creek - [player_tooltip player_id='239346' first='Lauren' last='Foster'], 2024 - 19.7p, 3.1r, 4.3a, 2.4s
Indian Creek - [player_tooltip player_id='59746' first='Abby' last='Fleetwood'], 2023 - 6.8p, 6.0r, 4.8a, 2.9s
Indian Creek - [player_tooltip player_id='506021' first='Ayla' last='Lollar'], 2025 - 6.9p, 2.1r, 2.0a, 2.3s
Northview - [player_tooltip player_id='178240' first='Audri' last='Spencer'], 2023 - 18.5p, 5.4r, 3.9a, 2.9s
Northview - [player_tooltip player_id='570371' first='Brynlee' last='Clarke'], 2025 - 13.1p, 4.6r
Northview - [player_tooltip player_id='486472' first='Reagin' last='White'], 2026 - 8.6p, 4.0r, 3.3a
Owen Valley - [player_tooltip player_id='178242' first='Reagan' last='Martin'], 2023 - 18.7p, 9.0r, 2.5b
Owen Valley - Madison Kay, 2023 - 9.0p, 4.0r, 2.8a
South Vermillion - Calee Coleman, 2023
West Vigo - [player_tooltip player_id='574555' first='Katelyn' last='Fennell'], 2023
West Vigo - Delaney Marrs, 2026
West Vigo - Lily Ramirez, 2025
West Vigo - [player_tooltip player_id='486477' first='Hannah' last='Stepp'], 2026

.

Sectional #27 at Brebeuf Jesuit:
Game-1: Herron (7-13) vs. Heritage Christian (15-7)
Game-2: Guerin Catholic (8-14) vs. Bishop Chatard (8-13)
Game-3: Shortridge (10-12) vs. Winner Game-1
Game-4: Brebeuf Jesuit (13-7) vs. Winner Game-2
Game-5: Winner Game-3 vs. Winner Game-4

Overview: Once again, I feel like Sectional #27 has a clear-cut favorite, that being Heritage Christian. They have played the toughest schedule, they are 4-0 against Sectional #27 competition, and they have defeated Bishop Chatard twice, most recently by 16 points on January 12th. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='496064' first='Mya' last='Davis'] (20.0p, 3.5r, 4.3a, 4.3s) has been as impressive as anyone in this field in 2022-2023. Classmate [player_tooltip player_id='177341' first='Koryn' last='Marshall'] (14.4p, 5.1r) competes on every possession, and she has good skill and toughness. The Eagles will be a tough "out", and not just in this Sectional. Bishop Chatard might not have the record, but they have played an incredibly tough schedule as well, and they were Semi-State representatives a season ago. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='410036' first='Caroline' last='Bell'] (11.6p, 6.0r) continues to be highly productive, while Sophomore Anna Caskey (9.6p, 9.1r) has really stepped up in her second year. Brebeuf Jesuit is greatly improved, and they could cause some problems on Friday or Saturday night. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='761173' first='Audra' last='Kendall'] (10.1p, 3.6r) has been a huge addition, while Sophomores Ella Miller (9.1p, 3.6r, 2.1s) and [player_tooltip player_id='453221' first='Savannah' last='Schafer'] (6.3p, 7.5r, 3.5a, 2.0s) are a big part of their youth movement.

Sectional #27 Players to Watch:
Bishop Chatard - [player_tooltip player_id='410036' first='Caroline' last='Bell'], 2023 - 11.6p, 6.0r
Bishop Chatard - Anna Caskey, 2025 - 9.6p, 9.1r
Bishop Chatard - Anna Thompson, 2023 - 8.6p, 3.1r, 2.6a
Brebeuf Jesuit - [player_tooltip player_id='761173' first='Audra' last='Kendall'], 2026 - 10.1p, 3.6r
Brebeuf Jesuit - Ella Miller, 2025 - 9.1p, 3.6r, 2.1s
Brebeuf Jesuit - [player_tooltip player_id='460840' first='Maeve' last='Perry'], 2023 - 6.9p, 7.4r
Brebeuf Jesuit - [player_tooltip player_id='453221' first='Savannah' last='Schafer'], 2025 - 6.3p, 7.5r, 3.5a, 2.0s
Guerin Catholic - [player_tooltip player_id='516350' first='Natalie' last='Fernandez'], 2023 - 8.1p, 3.0r, 2.1a
Guerin Catholic - Megan Cobb, 2023 - 7.3p, 7.2r
Guerin Catholic - [player_tooltip player_id='506019' first='Ava' last='Bills'], 2025 - 6.9p, 3.6r
Heritage Christian - [player_tooltip player_id='496064' first='Mya' last='Davis'], 2024 - 20.0p, 3.5r, 4.3a, 4.3s
Heritage Christian - [player_tooltip player_id='177341' first='Koryn' last='Marshall'], 2024 - 14.4p, 5.1r
Heritage Christian - [player_tooltip player_id='324078' first='Joslyn' last='Marshall'], 2025 - 9.6p, 3.1r
Heritage Christian - [player_tooltip player_id='324071' first='Casey' last='Frost'], 2025 - 7.4p, 5.1r
Herron - [player_tooltip player_id='572823' first='Jaycianna' last='Clark'], 2024 - 10.1p, 14.2r, 2.2s
Herron - Maya Alexis, 2024 - 9.0p, 7.4r, 3.4s
Shortridge - Shantrice Grant, 2023
Shortridge - Keara Stewart, 2026

.

Sectional #28 at Speedway:
Game-1: Beech Grove (9-12) vs. Speedway (10-10)
Game-2: George Washington (8-13) vs. Christel House Manual (1-19)
Game-3: Purdue Polytechnic (20-5) vs. Winner Game-1
Game-4: Cardinal Ritter (3-18) vs. Winner Game-2
Game-5: Winner Game-3 vs. Winner Game-4

Overview: Sectional #28 could be very interesting, as Purdue Polytechnic is in a great position to win their first-ever title. It's actually their first-ever season eligible for IHSAA postseason play. They have strong Senior play from Ajacia Griffith (12.2p, 5.5r) and [player_tooltip player_id='402337' first='Lailah' last='Hadley'] (11.5p, 3.7r, 5.9a, 3.8s). They've also set a record for wins in a season, though their history has been shot. Last year the Lady Techies were 19-4. They are 5-0 against Sectional #28 competition, though Speedway is the one team they haven't faced yet. The Speedway Sparkplugs pose the biggest problem for the Techies, despite their record. They have played a better schedule, and they have a pair of Juniors in [player_tooltip player_id='572819' first='Alex' last='DeLisle'] (12.4p, 5.5r, 2.0s) and [player_tooltip player_id='825947' first='Daniella' last='Galvez'] (12.4p, 6.3r) who have multiple years of postseason experience.
