It looks like Flynn is going to have a lot of personal accomplishments throughout her high school basketball career. As just a sophomore, she already eclipsed the 1000 point plateau last night.
Blanchard has been a dynamic scorer all season and it continued on a big stage last night. Her team defeated Cousino 55-44, securing a spot in the MAC Championship. Blanchard finished with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
Bamm has had plenty of big games in her high school career, but this may be one of the best. She absolutely dominated the paint in a win against Clinton, finishing the game with 29 points and 24 rebounds. Bamm is quite simply one of the best rebounders in Michigan. This isn’t new, she’s been crashing the boards since her impressive summer with UTS Lady Elite.
Highlights
LaPrairie is a quality guard that can handle the ball and make decisions like a lead guard, but also shoot like a high quality wing. She paced her team in their win against Lake Orion by scoring 17 points.
Bettys will have her own book full of mentions in an article at this pace. She’s been terrific. Very consistent as well. Last night Bettys had a 14 rebound and 11 point double-double.
I double dipped for great games with Utica Ford. Davis is just such a smooth moving athlete that seems to glide on the floor. She had a team high 15 points in the win.
I mentioned Bishop yesterday in an article about players to look out for in key games last night. Thank you Chelsea Bishop Chelsea Bishop 5’10” | SG Grand Blanc | 2024 State MI for making me look smarter than I am. She’s such a dependable scorer with terrific body control. Bishop finished the big 51-40 win against Bay City Western with 17 points.
Macon did Macon things in Lawton’s 54-44 win. The consummate leader got it done on both ends of the floor last night. She finished with 23 points and added 7 steals.
Highlights
Collins is a premier wing in this state and she seems to prove it on a nightly basis. She’s a huge factor in the great Kalamazoo Central season so far. In an impressive 67-38 win against Benton Harbor, Collins paced her squad with 25 points and 7 rebounds. She was also a menace on the defensive end, playing the passing lanes and creating chaos.
Reynolds is the perfect mixture of a team leader with takeover abilities. She has been a rock for her squad as they look to make another deep playoff run. Last night she scored her 1000th point.

Baker was very impressive in Edwardsburg’s impressive victory against Sturgis. It all started on the defensive end for her. She showed good defensive vision and quick hands, turning defense into offense. Baker finished with 13 points and 5 steals.
Rayah Hitt
Rayah Hitt
Hitt is a top notch freshman talent in the state. She was impressive in her team’s win against Hastings. Hitt finished with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
This name looks familiar. She did it again. Portland fought out a win in a 2 overtime game against Covenant Christian. She led her team with 16 points and handled the ball with poise in a pressure filled game.
