[player_tooltip player_id='167203' first='Amourie' last='Porter'], Glen Burnie, 2023 Guard- Amourie is a legit player of the year candidate and she is on a mission. After coming up short in last year's playoffs to eventual champions Western, the Gophers have once again dominated Anne Arundel County. Amourie is a leader and an impact player on both sides of the ball and is good enough to get her team deep into the playoffs, most likely the final four. She is an intense competitor and is averaging over 21 points a game and has 1000 for her career. She is headed to the University of California-Bakersfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='393084' first='Breasia' last='Coit'], Western, 2024, Center- Breasia has been dominant the last part of the season. She takes up a lot of space at 6'3" and has a high IQ. She has great hands and is a solid finisher in the paint. She draws a lot of fouls and is an excellent free throw shooter, one of the best in the area. She was a key player in Western's championship run last year and is looking to snag another title as the main player on an experienced team.

[player_tooltip player_id='857737' first='Ariana' last='Meriedy'], Wise, 2025, Center- Ariana is a legit 6'3" and rapidly expanding her game. She has improved her footwork which has helped her finish at a higher rate in post up situations. She looks more comfortable taking and making shots out to 15 feet or so. Defensively she is a monster as she effectively uses her length to block or deter shots. She cleans the glass too, coming up with ten boards a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='455407' first='Teagan' last='Phillips'], Seneca Valley, 2025 Guard- Teagan is the definition of "3 and D." If you like guards that can strap up and create havoc on defense Teagan is where you should start looking. She is a high-level pick pocket that can quickly create transition opportunities for her team. She is a sharpshooter and has range out past the three-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='416814' first='Raegan' last='Ogle'], South River, 2025, Point Guard- Ms. Ogle has perfected the art of stealing the ball from ball handlers and taken it to a new level. She has well over 100 steals this season and keeps adding to her total every game. It's uncanny how she runs up to players and just takes the ball. The 5'3" point guard has steadily improved over the season, running the team's offense and piling up points in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='239478' first='Carson' last='Burwell'], North Point, 2025, Point Guard- A true floor general that knows how to run an offense. She constantly probes the defense with her dribble penetration and rarely gets caught in traps. She has a high IQ and leads vocally on both ends of the court. She has a pass first mentality but can definitely get buckets when necessary.

[player_tooltip player_id='455408' first='Amaya' last='Durrett'], Parkdale, 2025, Shooting Guard- Amaya's step back lefty three-point shot is a thing of beauty. She is a high energy player that is capable of taking over a game with her shooting and scoring ability. She is no slouch on defense as she uses her speed and footwork to pester ball handlers disrupt the opposing team's offense.
