Can the Hilton Head Christian Academy Lady Eagles win a 5th straight SCISA state Championship this coming season? The Lady Eagles have moved up a classification like everyone else it seems but still bring a great tradition to the table. The Lady Eagles had won the past 4 straight SCISA Class 2A State Championships before the reclassification took place. Read more here in the debut of the SCISA Class 3A Top 5 teams in the state. The Road to Sumter starts now. #RecruitThePalmettoState

Hilton Head Christian Academy (21-2) - The Lady Eagles will look for a 5th straight State Championship later this month. Both of their losses this season have come to out of state teams. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='171803' first='Tamya' last='Hutchinson'] is back leading the charge at 18.5 ppg, 6.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists a night. Hutchinson has quietly scored over 2,300 career points in her career between Estill HS and Hilton Head Christian Academy. Tamya manufactures so many of her buckets on steals and layups in transition.

Junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='173002' first='Morgan' last='Scott'] brings a double-double to the party every night at 13.6 ppg and 10.8 rebounds. Scott plays inside the paint and does her best work down close to the cup. UNC-Pembroke signee [player_tooltip player_id='258560' first='Abby' last='Peduzzi'] averages 10.2 ppg and 9.9 rebounds for the Lady Eagles. Peduzzi will play volleyball at UNC-Pembroke next year.

Senior [player_tooltip player_id='319455' first='Jaida' last='Grayson'] gives the Lady Eagles an option on the wing or at times getting down-hill to the basket. Grayson looks to be a future Stock-Riser (Hint, Hint) in the 2023 Palmetto Stata Rankings. [player_tooltip player_id='197060' first='Devon' last='Yarde'] is playing a bit more off the ball this season at times and feeling comfortable dropping perimeter jumpers along the way. She really looks to stuff the stat sheet every night with her play 9.8 ppg, 4.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Can these Lady Eagles win a 5th straight State Championship this month in Sumter?

Orangeburg Prep (12-3) - The Lady Indians lost last season to Hilton Head Christian in the SCISA Class 2A State Championship Game. UNSIGNED Senior [player_tooltip player_id='172191' first='Campbell' last='Elizabeth Delaney'] leads the Indians. Delaney has been an instrumental part of Lady Indians program over the past 4 years under Head Coach Jan Stoudenmire. The Lady Indians also receive input [player_tooltip player_id='594321' first='Katherine' last='Lambrecht'], [player_tooltip player_id='460546' first='Jane' last='Walker Yonce'], Ashby Garrick and Joni Holstead.

Shannon Forest (16-3) - The Lady Crusaders have been led by UNSIGNED Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='198019' first='Emma' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='588323' first='Katie' last='Edney'] all season long. Smith a transfer from Hillcrest HS has been a great addition to the roster this season. Smith plays the game with some savvy and craftiness at times. She can get by defenders and get the ball into the basket or stop and drop a perimeter jumper. Edney looks to go to work inside-out on the floor for the Lady Crusaders. Can the Lady Crusaders make a good run from the Upper State down to Sumter later this month?

Pee Dee Academy (Mullins) (16-1) - The Lady Eagles don't really look to score a lot of points night in and night out. When they do score the ball, they look for post player Abby Johnson to lead the way at 10.4 ppg and 7.3 rebounds. Johnson will play with her back to the basket and post-up down in the paint while constantly playing to the whistle sounds with her effort. Left-handed guard Lizzie McCaskill has some quick hands to bring in 6.7 steals an outing while chipping in with 6.9 ppg for the Lady Eagles. [player_tooltip player_id='243544' first='Rebecca' last='Hammond'] adds 6.7 ppg a game for the Lady Eagles. The Lady Eagles look to be in a region battle with Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach. It will come down to the last game of the season on Valentine's Day down on the Grand Strand. The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Saints 28-23 this past Friday in Mullins.

John Paul II (Ridgeland) (16-4) - The Lady Golden Warriors have suffered a few losses to Hilton Head Christian Academy (twice) and Beaufort Academy this season. John Paul II leans on Junior Small Forward [player_tooltip player_id='594320' first='Brady' last='Mahoney'] to lead the charge. Mahoney is averaging 15.8 ppg, 12.1 rebounds and 3.2 steals this season. Freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='429825' first='Lily' last='Termini'] adds 6.6 ppg for the Lady Golden Warriors.

Who will make it to Sumter later this month?
