[player_tooltip player_id='318146' first='Jill' last='Twiehaus'] 2024 - Jenks: Jill is one of the purest shooters playing the game, right now. She does not require much room to get her shot off as she has a quick release and often times, elevates above her defenders. Twiehaus is not just a "stand in the corner" shooter but rather - an experienced and skilled shooter who can score off the curl, off the dribble as well as create her own shot. She is hard to stop and hard to defend because she is always moving on the offensive end - looking for the open spots, slashing through the lanes and simply, wearing her defenders out. Jill is also very aggressive and knows when to attack the basket. She rebounds well, hustles and plays both ends of the floor, purposefully.

[player_tooltip player_id='309984' first='Marcayla' last='Johnson'] 2025 - Booker T. Washington: Johnson is fast, skilled and plays beyond her years. She runs the floor well and can manuever/dribble through the defense with ease. In transition, she gets ahead of the pack and finishes at the rim, consistently. Inside, she uses great feet work to get her defenders off the ground and finishes with a nice jumper or lay-up. Marcayla has one of the nicest crossovers and it gets the defenders off balance, every time. Offensively, she has all the skills to score at will. Defensively, she moves well laterally and she is hard to get around due to her ability to pressure the ball handler and cut off the line. Marcayla is an exciting player to watch and one can only imagine how good she will be in the next couple of years!

[player_tooltip player_id='572964' first='Alexis' last='Leyva'] 2026 - Booker T. Washington: Alexis is a solid, all around ball player that does a little bit of everything for her team. She is a skilled ball handler under pressure and does an excellent job of pushing the ball up the court in transition; she can find her open teammates but can also go all 94 feet and finish at the rim. Leyva isn't afraid to get in the mix when rebounding and secures the ball well once she has the ball. She is a shooter that can score from just about anywhere on the floor. Defensively, she is strong; she gets back on D quickly and can play on ball, aggressively without fouling.

[player_tooltip player_id='556048' first='Rhyian' last='Mayberry'] 2025 - Booker T. Washington: Rhyian is a very good shooter from deep but has the ability to attack the basket and finish through contact. She is a player that should be shooting the ball more when she has the open look, especially from beyond the arc but seems hesitant at times. She rebounds the ball effectively and doesn't stand around once the shot goes up. She keeps a good pace throughout the game and does well at finding her open teammates. Defensively, Mayberry is excellent at keeping her opponent in front of her and does a good job of cutting off the line. Booker T. Washington has a few underclassmen that everyone should keep an eye on and Rhyian is definitely one of them.
