Some have played in some big games already in their high school career. Six out of the ten played in the state tournament this season. This team should be a fun one to watch with the collection of shooting and versatility.
She played a big role off the bench for a Woodinville team who was ranked number 1 for the better part of the high school season. They ended up finishing 4th in Class 4A. She hit multiple threes in a good portion of her games this season, including 5 once, and 4 three times. She is a knock down shooter and will take on a bigger role next season as a scoring guard.
Her team didn’t make the state tournament but she is one of the best shooters on this team full of them. She has a quick release and is deadly from three when left open. She also has the ability to create with the quickness she has. She is also excellent on defense and was named defensive player of the year in the KingCo 4A conference. It is her quickness and relentless ball pressure that makes her great on the defensive end of the floor.
Highlights
Portia is an electric player from the point guard position. She had some big games this season and is capable of getting hot from three. She gets to the basket with a bulldog type mentality. She is a trusty ball handler as a true point guard who can hit threes in bunches, and is excellent at getting to the basket. Her defense has that same type of bulldog mentally.

Another three point threat. She made 39 of them through 20 games this season. She averaged 14 points per game for Redmond this season and 13 in her freshman year
Playing on a state tournament team, she led Lake Washington in scoring for most of the season. A team with balanced scoring across the board. Nonetheless, it is a notable stat. She is a shooter who can play multiple positions. She is a better than average athlete whose ceiling is high. She has the tools to be a great player for Lake Washington in the next three years.
Another versatile player with good size. She is a threat from three and shoots off the dribble well. She is able to get herself open putting it on the deck and using the mid-range jumper as well. She provides rebounding and interior defense with that length and versatility.
She was the 3rd leading score for West Seattle behind the talented duo of Lucy Larson Lucy Larson 5’10” | PG West Seattle | 2024 State WA and Carmen Cruz Carmen Cruz 5’10” | SG West Seattle | 2024 State WA . She averaged 9.4 points and 6.4 rebounds playing on a state tournament team. She is capable of making shots from the outside but at 6’1″,her rebounding and presence in the paint should be most valuable to this team. She and Timmons are teammates during the high school season, and part of an up and coming 2025 class for West Seattle.
Highlights
Add some more versatility and athleticism. She is a good athlete who was a big part of the pressure defense for Bellarmine Prep. She is a glue type player who does a little bit of everything. The versatility is what stands out.
Colby provides length with good defense and shot blocking skills. What’s even better is that she is a capable ball handler who can grab and go. Her versatility makes her valuable in all aspects of the game. She didn’t score a lot of points but she was on a state tournament team that had a lot of talented scorers.

Helped her Meadowdale team to a state tournament appearance. She has length and size as a post player. She played big minutes off the bench. At 6’1″, she can give this team some toughness in the paint. With all the shooters on this team, there will need to be rebounders and she can be that.
