Today we released the Spring rankings update for the Class of 2025. There were 12 new additions in total, plus a few players who raised their “stock”, so to speak, so subsequently there was some movement throughout the list. We have also changed formats to make rankings more exclusive, therefore at this time we are ranking just 75 players in the Class of 2025, with the rest being placed on a watchlist of 85 players. At some point in the near future, those 75 ranked spots will expand to 100. That will likely either be June 1st or September 1st. In the meantime, I wanted to take this time to circle back and address all of the listed prospects, position by position. Below is a look at 20 combo guard prospects who make up 12.5% of the rankings this time around, with analysis on a handful to “keep an eye on” detailed at the bottom.

KEEP AN EYE ON:
Brookelynn is always fun to watch. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, but it’s the fact that she always plays hard and competes that stands out. She can handle it and initiate/run the offense, but she’s also a capable scorer who can make shots outside or attack the basket. Defensively, she does a nice job of using her length to bother passing lanes and get her hands on passes. As she continues getting stronger, look for her game to be more and more consistent.
Highlights
Gabby missed the first part of the season injured, but once she returned, the Lady Titans were a different team. She does a tremendous job of taking care of the ball for them, but she is also a multilevel scorer who can fill it up on occasion. She has gotten noticeably stronger, she has an explosive first step to the basket, and she draws contact well and earns repeated trips to the free throw line. I look for her to continue tightening her skillset and building on her productivity.
Nevaeh is a legitimate track type of athlete. She has tremendous end-to-end speed, she can stop on a dime and change directions, plus she is extremely bouncy at her size. She uses those tools well, but I’ve said before that once she learns how to change speeds better and not always go 100 MPH, she’s going to be that much more dangerous. I feel like she excels most at the defensive end of the floor, because she can cause havoc defending the basketball.
