After another year of dominance around southeast Wisconsin, the Pirates are back at the Resch Center and have the No. 1 seed. [player_tooltip player_id='374229' first='Amy' last='Terrian'] is one of the most fluid offensive players in the state. She can beat kids off the dribble or shoot over some good contests. Her twin [player_tooltip player_id='448223' first='Anna' last='Terrian'] came off the bench last season. This season, she's been placed in the starting lineup and has proven to be a game-breaker. She's more of a natural facilitator than her sister is, but I'd argue that is the main reason the Pirates' offense is as lethal as it is. She sees the floor well, kicks out to her open shooters, and can score 26 against a talented team. Freshman Giselle Janowksi came into the fold and immediately became the best perimeter defender the Pirates have. She'll defend the opposing team's best guard/wing. This team also goes deeper than anyone else in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='333100' first='Kennedy' last='Retherford'], [player_tooltip player_id='533086' first='Kylie' last='Pieper'], [player_tooltip player_id='533084' first='Vanessa' last='Johnson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='509721' first='Vanhi' last='Chava'] are kids who'd be the best player on a significant amount of teams across the state but are more role players at Pewaukee that can win the Pirates a game.

The Tritons are looking for a three-peat this season. The two players on the top of every scouting report are juniors [player_tooltip player_id='209880' first='Gracie' last='Grzesk'] and [player_tooltip player_id='209879' first='Trista' last='Fayta']. Future Wisconsin Badger [player_tooltip player_id='209880' first='Gracie' last='Grzesk'] is a walking mismatch. Grzesk is comfortable rolling in the post, finishing with heavy contact, stepping out, and knocking down deep 3-pointers. She's a two-way kid that will do her best work around the basket, especially against the teams she'll see in D2. Future Illinois State Redbird [player_tooltip player_id='209879' first='Trista' last='Fayta'] is a natural winner. Wherever she goes, success follows. She was the difference a year ago in the state title game, where she finished with 27 points, five rebounds, and five assists. She finds a way to help her team win games, even when the odds aren't in her favor. [player_tooltip player_id='157533' first='Hope' last='Barington'], [player_tooltip player_id='338948' first='Peyton' last='Musial'], [player_tooltip player_id='209882' first='Sydney' last='Whitehouse'], and [player_tooltip player_id='842199' first='Kaia' last='Waldrop'] are the others to watch at the Resch. Baringnton is the senior of the group, and she does all the little things to help the Tritons win games. Musial is an explosive, rangy wing who can knock down shots in bunches and attack off the catch. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='209882' first='Sydney' last='Whitehouse'] has been one of the best two-way guards in the state this season. Finally, freshman [player_tooltip player_id='842199' first='Kaia' last='Waldrop'] gives the Tritons a bunch of lineup versatility off the bench with her size, strength, and ability to be physical against opposing post players.

The Spartans will give their opponent/s a steady dose of [player_tooltip player_id='209586' first='Teagan' last='Mallegni']. The uber-talented wing was one of the leading scorers in the state last year, and she's one of the most unguardable kids when she's at her best. The x-factor will be junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='209598' first='Brynn' last='Kirch']. She is a talented kid with the ball in her hands and can create some advantages by beating her initial defender off the dribble. [player_tooltip player_id='329575' first='Adrienne' last='Kirch'] is a spot-up shooter who leads this team and can punish any late rotation. [player_tooltip player_id='337014' first='Ava' last='Dean'] is a physically undersized forward who gets after it on the boards. After those four, you'll see plenty of kids who can shoot or bring some physicality.

The T-Birds have been preparing for this run for a few years now. They haven't been afraid to come to the southern part of the state and play any of the best teams they could. Senior and future Lehigh Mountain Hawk [player_tooltip player_id='156066' first='Julianna' last='Ouimette'] has put up some of the craziest stats in Wisconsin for her entire time in high school. She'll have the ball in her hands to try and score or create for others most of the time. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='338940' first='Kristina' last='Ouimette'] is a 6-foot-2 wing who can shoot the lights out off the catch or with a stepback. After those two, you have kids like [player_tooltip player_id='448291' first='Saylor' last='Timmerman'], a 6-foot-1 forward who fights down on the block, and Lily Fortier, a senior guard who's been on this journey to get to state for four years and has been a reliable source of offense for the T-Birds.
