In 5,4,3,2,1… Tennessee, we have lift off. This past high school season, we had some crazy young hoopers launch themselves up the rankings. These ladies played a phenomenal game of basketball, adding to their craft, and lifting up their teams along the way. Their ability to impact the game in more ways than one way, has increased their stock not only in the PGH Tennessee rankings, but in the eyes of college coaches as well.

In this edition of stock risers, we highlight some very talented girls from the ‘24 class. Girls who have gotten in the gym, out worked their opponents on the floor, and displayed a brand of basketball that will surely land them on someone's college roster. See, the game of basketball is more than just putting a ball in the hoop. It's about doing the little things that may go unnoticed. Loose balls, boxing out, communication, making the extra pass, being selfless. These are just a few of the characteristics that these young ladies have in common. They make their teammates better! These girls went out and did all that they could to make their squad a better ball club.

Now, here is your class of ‘24 stock risers. Keep tabs on these young ladies as they surely will be competing at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='245364' first='Maddy' last='Newman'] (6'2/C/ Gatlinburg-Pittman)- Big anchor in the middle that has a nice mid-range game to compliment her ability to score the rock around the blocks. She's a beast on the boards on both ends. Offensively, very instinctual and can pick her poison on when to score. They feed her in the post and she finishes through contact. Defensively, she's great at flattening the pick n'roll situations, grabbing boards, blocking shots. Special talent with a huge upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='290967' first='Savannah' last='Davis'] (5'9/SG/ McKinzie)- Special talent who is a 3 level scoring threat. Nice finisher who is deadly from the field. No matter where she is on the floor, she lets the ball fly with confidence. A 3pt specialist, who also plays super tough on the defensive end as well. Brings energy to the game nightly. Has a “go-get em” attitude that is infectious.

[player_tooltip player_id='290939' first='Micah' last='Hart'] (5'7/ PG/ Gibson Co.)- All-Around player who just gets after it. Scoring. check. Assists. Check. Defends. Check. This girl is a hustler who just grinds it out. Fearless competitor that strives for greatness. Isn't afraid to do the dirty things, and will do whatever it takes to ensure her club comes out on top. Has a great court presence and is very efficient from the field.

Aaiyanna Dubar (6'2/ C/ Blackman)- Big post player who hasn't hit her peak yet. Brings a big-time presence to the game. Establishing residency in the paint on both ends by just getting after it. She's on the boards. She's converting second chance shots. She finishes in the painted area. I mean the girl has so much potential that coaches will definitely get to witness this summer on the circuit. A defensive juggernaut that can be a great inside presence for a future club at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='290717' first='Carrington' last='Jones'] (5'8/ CG/ Bartlett)- Speed. Ability to change get in and out of breaks. Defend. Knock down shots. Her game is lethal and this young lady isn't a finished product. Had a stellar season and a great tournament run as well, but CJ is a legit kid that can go. Had nice handles, sees the floor well, can score it inside and out, and can defend the other team's best player. Fearless kid who has a high upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='405709' first='Daisy' last='Gale'] (5'8/ G/ PCA)- Edgy player who brings her lunchpail to the game nightly. Daisy just gets after it and plays with a high motor. A 3 level scoring threat, she is going to make her mark in every statistical category there is. From steals to assists to winning the 50/50 battles, she is going to stick her nose in there and get after it. Plays with a chip on her shoulder, she's out to prove that she belongs on the floor. Fiery competitor that has an incredible work ethic.

[player_tooltip player_id='822364' first='Quinn' last='Johnson'] (5'4/ SG/ Summit)- Lethal scoring threat that plays the game with a passion. Confident, she's a bucket from the field especially from beyond the arc. Has the ability to “will” a team to victory. She has the heart of a warrior and the spirit of a lion. Quinn is a go-getter. Her club feeds off her energy and she consistently rises to the occasion. On both ends of the floor, she's going to make the right play majority of the time. Creating opportunities for herself and others is her specialty. Great kid who will continue to rise and build upon this solid foundation she has laid.
