In an instant classic type of game between West Catholic and Grand Rapids Christian, you knew there’d be a player that had a memorable game. Bies stood tall in the win. She paced her team offensively by scoring a team high 19 points.
Standfest has been standing out since the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 in the early fall. She’s been one of the most consistent high output players in the state this season. That didn’t change in the regional finals where she led her team to a win with a 26 point and 12 rebound double-double.
Braeden Tokar

In a defensive slugfest, somebody has to come through on both ends of the floor. Last night, that was Tokar. She was solid on the defensive end, playing a role in holding their opponent to 12 points in the game. Offensively, Tokar scored almost half of her team’s 36 points, finishing with 16 in the contest.
Sienna Wolfe

The freshman sure doesn’t play like one, especially in a high stakes game against a good opponent like last night. Wolfe was terrific slashing and finding lanes to the rim. She had a team high 20 points in the 53-43 victory against Byron Center.
Collins has had an outstanding junior season and she’s reaping the rewards of her hard work. Last night she led her Blissfield team to a historic program win against Arbor Prep. Collins was the lightning bolt that her team needed with her energy and offensive output. She finished the game with 23 points.
Carson might just be this season’s Miss Basketball and games like this are exactly why. She dominated the regional final with a triple-double. Carson had 29 points, 17 rebounds and 10 blocks. That’s flat out willing your team to a win. She also scored her 1000th point in the game. If Carson continues to dominate the paint like this, Buchanan will have more wins in waiting.
Borsenik has had a hot hand all the way through the playoffs so far. Hemlock needed her A game against a very talented Lake City team, and they got it. She paced her squad with a team high 17 points in a 60-56 overtime win.
