Continue ReadingWoods made a huge move up from 85th overall to 24th in this update and she continues to trend up, long term. After averaging nearly 20 points per game as a Sophomore, Kenleigh looks the part of a future scholarship level player. Her three point shooting numbers were respectable but if she can improve that part of her game, look for Woods to average closer to 24 points per game as a Junior.
Another high scoring guard, Nicole moves up twenty two spots from 47th to 25th. Nicole is a good shooter who made over 35% of her three point shots this season but can become too reliant on the three at times as she doesn’t get to the free throw line much compared to how much she has the ball in her hands.
The Lady Broncos made a big run to get to state tournament this season and Baker was a big part of their success. Making the move up from 46th overall to 29th, Kate showed that she could be the best point guard in the 11th region for the foreseeable future. Primarily a distributor, Kate can get buckets when she wants to force the action but often lays back and creates for others.
Owen County has graduated a lot of talent over the last two years but Webster is hoping to make sure they stay near the top of their region. Zoey moved all the way to 39th after checking in at 60th in our last round of updates. Webster is a shooting guard in the purest sense of the term as she shot more threes than twos last season. In order to take her game to the next level, she will need to get more comfortable attacking the rim but she has a chance to be really good next season.
