Brynna moves without the ball very well, creating open opportunities for herself. She is a knockdown shooter who has a lot of range from deep. She can create shots off the dribble for her and her teammates effectively as well. She knocks down multiple 3’s a game and could be the best shooter within the entire class. Her catch and shoot compares to the best within the entire state.
Highlights
Alana is a fantastic rim protector for Ellensburg. She has great size and is quick on her feet so not many players are able to finish easily around her. She has great footwork on the offensive end, being able to settle in the post and make a move on her defender. Her game is only going to continue to grow.
Amanda brings ENERGY on the court. She plays very, very intense defense and it is awesome to watch. She moves her feet good and is able to keep the ball carrier in front of her with ease. She takes pride in her defense and rightfully so. She finishes well around the rim and hits open jump shots often.
Lia had a great sophomore season this year. I really thought she improved all assets of her game and became very well rounded. She’s a great spot up shooter, off the dribble or the pass. She sets her feet very quickly which allows her to take efficient shots. She can pull up from deep when brining the ball up, which makes her dangerous for the defense. Defensively, she’s very persistent. She is not afraid to get in her opponent’s face and force them to pick up her dribble.
