There are a lot of solid tournaments this weekend, and many fantastic Virginia teams will be in them. Here are a few of them to look out for and some of their key players.

GTS fusion 17U: Atlantic City Showcase
If you are tuned into NOVA public school basketball GTS Fusion 17U has some talented and recognizable names. Janiyah Marion was one of the best players in NOVA this season. She is raw and has the potential to be great, and this AAU season will be significant in her development. Players like sharpshooting forward [player_tooltip player_id='238886' first='Hope' last='Drake'] and [player_tooltip player_id='260620' first='Alysa' last='Carrigan'] are just all-around fantastic basketball players. There are other solid names on this team that are worth checking out.

NRV Storm 17U: Beasts of the East
I've talked a little about NRV Storm being underrated, and if you still need to check them out, this weekend would be a great time to do so. Peyton Dunbar is a talented combo guard with great size. [player_tooltip player_id='877371' first='Moriah' last='Tate'] is another skilled guard they have, and [player_tooltip player_id='513790' first='Madilyn' last='Winterton'] is a problem on both ends of the court with her length and versatility. Several other outstanding players are on this team, and they are an underrated squad.

Team Loaded 2024: Legends events center
I watched Team Loaded last week at the chick-fil-a invitational, and I was thoroughly impressed. I was aware of bigger names like [player_tooltip player_id='255921' first='Trinity' last='Dale'], but players like R'Mia Crutchfield, who is fantastic out the post and on the glass. Ainsley Anderson was impressive too. Ainsley can shoot the ball well and is active on the defensive side of the ball.

Elevate Elite Richmond 2025: Beast of the East
Elevate Elite always seems to put out quality teams, and Elevate Elite Richmond 2025 is no different. Their most intriguing player to me is 6'5" Center [player_tooltip player_id='371296' first='Samara' last='Faulk']. She uses her size well and is dominant on both ends. She blocks a lot of shots and is an absolute problem. I've watched [player_tooltip player_id='740657' first='Sydney' last='Richardson'] before, and her ability to get to the rim and force her way to the free-throw line stood out to me. [player_tooltip player_id='391142' first='Ava' last='Fulkerson'] is a great shooter and had a great year for Saint Gertrude that was overshadowed by playing with the state's leading scorer in [player_tooltip player_id='300376' first='Erin' last='Woodson'].

Impact CVA 16U: Beast of the East
Impact CVA will also be headed to North Carolina this weekend. This team is filled with excellent players led by [player_tooltip player_id='476422' first='Aden' last='Clark']. Aden can shoot the ball well and understands the game well. [player_tooltip player_id='982770' first='Emma' last='Clark'] is an elite shooter from all over the court, taking and making difficult shots. [player_tooltip player_id='826958' first='Hannah' last='Coffman'] is another player on Impact CVA that I like. She rebounds the ball well on both ends and pushes the ball well. There are many other quality players on this team that are worth checking out.
