Jamie Walker-5’2 PG (Texas Elite Ultraboost) Summit
Walker immediately had me jot down the #sizedontmatter hashtag because she can play and her variety of things from another era had me smiling at the 8 am game. First of all, she’s VOCAL, I can’t emphasize how important that is when you’re running the 1 but she also understands how to run a team, and that, along with controlling the tempo sold me. She handled the ball under pressure yet her court vision, both in the set as well as in transition, was nice. She scored off the dribble numerous times, she also created her shot and dropped it in the set as well as the “stop and pop” in transition
Kaelie Massenburg-6’3 PF/C (Texas Elite Ultraboost) Denison
Massenburg has good size as well as a nice frame and when you factor in she’s “long and athletic” which is the base, let me drop some intangibles starting with she too is VOCAL and showed she could score around the basket, has nice hands and footwork, as well as on putbacks, after contact, yes, she rebounds on both ends. She also runs the floor on both ends and when she started dropping the midrange jumper, that was nice, but I needed more ink because she also dropped it from long-range. Her timing was also good as she blocked shots and handled the ball afterward but she also handled it after playing the passing lane
Annabelle Tobin Annabelle Tobin 5'7" | SG Ursuline Academy | 2025 TX -5’7 SG (Texas Elite Ultraboost) Ursuline Academy
Tobin showed me she could score multiple ways when I first wrote about her and what she has done now is shown she understands how to take games over offensively. She has a deceptive first step which enables her to go by defenders and score off the dribble but her body control helps her not only create contact but finish afterward. She also understands how to create her shot under pressure and drop it while being pressured, yes with a hand in her face, from mid to long-range. Her ball-handling in the open court has also gotten better, and so is her ability to not only see the floor but make the right pass
Natalie Greene-5’11- SF (Houston Lady Wildcats) Willowridge
Greene is “long and athletic” and please remember I call that the base because I love that profile yet more importantly so do college coaches, and they offer next-level opportunities. Her first step is strong, she attacks the basket powerfully and finished with players literally hanging on her back but she also did a good job rebounding, on both ends, and scoring around the basket. Her defense, both in and outside the paint is also solid but her upside is nice too
Hailey Kinchen-5’0 PG (Houston Lady Wildcats) Willowridge
Kinchen was another #sizedontmatter guard that grabbed my attention and kept it. She’s an athletic guard that understands how to use her athleticism on both ends of the court. She plays good “on the ball” defense, baseline to baseline, but she also attacks the basket strongly, with either hand. Her pull-up jumper from the midrange was effective, she also saw the floor
