Amelia Bootsma Amelia Bootsma 6'2" | C Wichita Independent | 2026 State KS , 6’0″, Olathe North, Dynasty (KS) ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”], 2026 – There are several things to like about Bootsma. And all is rooted in foundational skills and want to. Unafraid of contact, she competes well inside on both ends of the floor. Especially on the glass. She keeps the ball up off the catch and rebound, drop steps and power dribbles well to get a hoop, and solidly challenges shots and walls up on drivers. Bootsma plays hard, has good north-south speed, and just flat competes. Her athleticism and skill set continue to develop. I really like her upside.
Addison Davee Addison Davee 6'3" | C Maize South | 2027 State KS , 6’2″, Wichta Home School, B2B Kansas Bluejays , 2027 – A summer ago my colleague David Garner saw Davee at the Council Bluffs PGH Live event. Davee has legitimate size and, as Garner describes, moves more like a small forward. She is active on both ends. He noted that “she showed hustle on loose balls and was not afraid to take her shots.” He also like her lateral movement and ability to alter shots. He felt “Davee could turn some heads in the coming years.” I also saw her last fall at a Wichita event. She showed those same abilities. Definitely a player colleges should get on their radars.
Paityn Fritz Paityn Fritz 6'2" | C Salina South | 2026 State KS , 6’2″, Salina South, 2026 – Arguably the top center prospect among underclassmen Fritiz is big, strong interior force who protects the rim well. She also has handles to work out of pressure and transitions well. A Arkansas Valley Chisholm Trail League Div I second team selection, she can fill it up. Against Salina Central at the Salina Invitational she scored 20 points on Salina Central in a third place game loss on the way to making the all-tournament team.
Avery Scott Avery Scott 6'0" | C Stanton County | 2026 State KS , 6’1″, Stanton County, Gameball Fusion, 2026 – Scott had a huge freshman season that rewarded her with Hi-Plains League first team and KBCA and Varsity Kansas 2A honorable mention selections. Her strong diversified game to enabled her to churn out 13.2 points and 11.9 rebounds per game. Using her length, quickness and athleticism to advantage of she plays with physicality on both ends. A solid interior defender, she anticipates plays well to block shots. Scott also has a good back-to-basket game and an ability to finish through contact.
Madelyn Wilson Madelyn Wilson 6'2" | C Chase County | 2026 State KS , 6’2″, Chase County, 2026 – Wilson had a monster year while averaging 21.1 points and 13.2 rebounds. A KBCA and Varsity Kansas 2A honorable mention selection, she also was named to the Flint Hills League first team. She brings good size, length, athleticism and a fluid shot with good hops to the table. Wilson also has good footwork that makes her effective on both ends of the floor.
