I have a feeling that this isn’t going to be the last time I write about Kyrah Gray. She was terrific at the Michigan Main Event. She showed her explosive scoring abilities in a 25 point output. Gray added a 16 point game as well. She looked confident and solid with her jumper and can definitely bury a triple.
Dykstra should be a household name in the Michigan basketball community after the way she’s started the spring. She showed incredible variety in the ways that she can score over the weekend. Dykstra ran the floor and scored in transition, flaunted a pretty jumper with 3 point range and scored off the block with her back to the basket.
Banks certainly hasn’t let off the gas after a stellar ending to the high school season. The downhill guard made some noise at the PGH Circuit’s Buckeye Breakdown. After watching film, there may not have been a more purely talented athlete with more upside than Banks. She took home a Top Performer recognition at the event.
I don’t know that I’ve seen a better rebounder this grassroots season than Gray. Teams have to dread playing the Mistics S40 squad and dealing with her on the glass. It seems like Gray grabs EVERY board. I’m willing to bet that there’s never a dropped dish that hits the ground in the Gray household.
I was really impressed with Mitchell at Michigan’s Main Event. Last time I really broke her game down, she was a solid athlete and good defender that could make some plays. She’s come a long ways. I loved the way that she saw the floor and her accuracy with her passes. Mitchell proved to be a multi level scorer that can shoot as well as finish at the rim.
