LBI Spring Invitational: 2025 Top Performers – Part I

President was able to finish drives to the rack all day long and especially through contact. She brings a tough and gritty attitude to the floor. Nadia was able to touch the paint and get the ball into the gaps to find a open teammate on the other end. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>President was able to get shifty with the ball in her hands at times today. Courtney constantly plays around the ball and won't hesitate for a second to jump on the deck for a loose ball. She connected on some perimeter jumpers here today while she wasn't hitting a floater down the lane. Campbell feels comfortable playing both guard positions in the backcourt. She attends Hilton Head Prep. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Perimeter Skills Continue to Improve:</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='255967' first='Cokey' last='Suddeth']</strong> has really made good strides in the past year with her game. She continues to get more comfortable away from the basket and playing on the perimeter. Cokey and the Charleston Raptors came out on fire vs the Capital Tyrants here late in the day on Saturday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Suddeth connected on a few three pointers when she wasn't knocking down a mid-rage jumper. She is always looking to be in the right direction or place to make a play on the floor for her team. Andrus who attends Wando HS has had a few solid showings this spring on the Grassroots Circuit. She was great today finishing everything around the cup with a soft touch. Moody plays the game extremely active and really understands on how to play around the ball. She got to the foul line on several occasions today for the black and gold. Mariana must get stronger down the road and work on finishing through contact at times. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She was able to step-out and make the short corner jumper at times when she wasn't diving on the floor for a loose ball. Moody has really good length to be disruptive at times in the passing lanes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em><strong>Future Looks Bright: </strong></em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"id":653299,"width":256,"height":192,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2023/05/F58AB7D3-F460-4991-A74D-7FA8111E5422.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-653299" width="256" height="192" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The South Carolina Future 10th team won quite easily in the game we took in today.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='378764' first='Destinee' last='Tiller']</strong> was all over the floor with her play. Tiller who attends Eau Claire HS was making plays on and off the ball. Destinee finished some mid-range jumpers when she wasn't getting to the rack at times. She was always in groove to receive the ball in the pocket for a quick release. Davis brings constant HUSTLE to the floor at all times. Great team concept and mindset - plays the game very vocal with her teammates. Davis attends Westwood HS. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
