One of four Prep Girls Hoops Circuit events taking place around the country, the three-day basketball get-together welcomed teams mostly from the southeast as well as one hailing all the way from Wisconsin. The Badger State along with Texas and Wisconsin also hosted events.
Following the unveiling of our 15U first and second teams, we now turn attention to our Gamechangers who also made a difference for their teams this past weekend.
Standing at a tall stature of 5-foot-11, Desjarlais gives Blue Heat Basketball Academy 2026 out of Florida an imposing presence near the rim. The team concluded Peach Games weekend with a 3-1 record. One of those three victories occurred on Saturday against Georgia-based Team Nite Nite 2026. In that win, Desjarlais scored 12 points. In addition, she added another eight points to her weekend output in a victory over SMAC Kentucky Royals 2026. She uses every bit of her 5-foot-11 stature to also do plenty of work on both the offensive and defensive glasses. Desjarlais is the only player listed on this year’s Blue Heat Basketball Academy 2026 roster from Assumption.

Ortiz is poised for even more success as she advances into the veteran portion of her career. The standout from 3A Walhalla was a major reason why the Razorbacks made a deep run in the 2022-23 SCHSL playoffs. That momentum has translated seamlessly to the AAU campaign. She was an important piece to a victory on Saturday morning against Kentucky Blue Devils 2026 when she put 11 points on the board. Ortiz places plenty of emphasis on ball handling and limiting turnovers and she also is a gifted rebounder and midrange jump shooter. Volleyball is her second sport outside of basketball.

Plenty of roaring was done by Ouachita Parish Lions throughout Peach Games weekend. One of those lionesses was Conley who helped her team finish the weekend with a 4-0 record following a victory over South Carolina-based Tempo Sports Academy. She scored 10 points in that victory and what particularly made the outing remarkable was tallying seven of those 10 points in the second half of a game that could have gone either way. Cooley is one of three representing Ouachita Parish on this year’s rendition of My Sister’s Keeper 2026. She has also participated in track and field events throughout her athletic career.

Peach Games weekend got off to a rocky start for Kentucky Blue Devils 2026, but thanks to rising stars like Carner from Tishnor MS, the team was able to right the ship and finish the weekend strong. One of the two victories the team managed to claim was against Upstate Rebels out of South Carolina. Carner led the way to a 47-34 victory over their foes from the Palmetto State. She does not let her 5-foot-2 stature get in the way of her being able to haul in rebounds. Consistency and reliability as a scorer can also be counted on with Carner. Ball handling skills and getting to the free throw line are two other elements to her overall game.
Ishika Cass

Cass is the only representative from Randle Cooper on this season’s Kentucky Blue Devils 2026 team. As is the case with Tichenor, Randle Cooper is also on the Kentucky side of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Cass is a reliable and accurate free throw shooter – she went to the line during Sunday’s game against South Carolina-based Upstate Rebels 2026 when the coach of Upstate Rebels 2026 had a technical foul assessed against him. Cass goes into every game with a heads-up attitude, a midrange jump shot and a high basketball IQ. She can play productive minutes as either a one or two guard in the backcourt.
