Identifying and targeting the middle school players for high school coaches is the key and for colleges the same is true for underclassmen. Below are five players that coaches should be watching to help their programs in the future.
Claire Bono Claire Bono 5'9" | SF Oakdale | 2027 State MD

Clair is long and thin. She is a mobile wing with a midrange jumper and can stretch the floor out to the three. Her range and touch around the basket has her on a division on track as she grows into her frame.
Makaila Jones Makaila Jones 5'11" | C TTO | 2027 MD

Makaila is strong and physical inside and once she has established position she is hard to move or get around. She’s not the tallest but with a couple more inches she can be a dominant post presence in high school.
Janey Salinas Janey Salinas 5'8" | SG Osborne Park | 2027 VA

Janey is long, she long runs floor very well and finishes plays. Her form is looking fundamentally solid and could make her a good inside out threat if she can be consistent with it.
Jocelynn Kinlaw

Jocelynn looks taller than her listed 5’9″ height and plays taller as well. She rebounded high and kept the ball high in putbacks. She looked to the basket in while in the paint and was able to get to the line as defenses collapsed around her.
Mary had one of the best looking shots I’ve seen in a while. She is quick with the ball and has an excellent handle. She plays without fear and will willingly attack players twice her size and many times will win the battle. Mary should be on major college coaches radar by the end of the summer.
