Team to watch at the Chick-fil-A Invitational

There will be a lot of talent there, and I want to tell you what teams and players to watch out for. The [program_tooltip program_id='713572' first='Virginia' last='Outlaws'] have some of the best talents in southwest VA and should be great all weekend. She is a great two-way player and one of the best players in the 2024 class. I saw her play in the VHSL state semifinal and state final; she was lights out. She racks up steals with her defensive pressure and intensity, often leading to her offense. She has an uncanny ability to hit tough shots while moving and is a super-talented offensive player. She searches for the ball in big moments and has game for days. Avery can shoot the ball from 3, and she has excellent range. She can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. She has great touch and likes to use floaters when she can't get to the rim. Avery is fundamentally sound and plays both ways. She is a combo guard but can be a lead guard when called upon. She is good at getting to the rim and finishing through contact. Her instincts and defense make her a valuable player, even if she's not a scorer.
