With Spring ball wrapping up and summer leagues starting, I was able to see a lot of new players with huge potential to be a key addition to a college program. With offers being a huge stamp on that potential.. below are some of the top forwards!
Reardon has had a strong amount of attention from coaches at all levels over this past spring season, and it’s not hard to gauge why. The 6’1 forward has the ability to play 2-5 in most systems. Defensively she covers the entirety of the court with her length. On the offensive side she’s skilled in a variety of ways. She can score from block to arc, solid ball handles allow her to get to the rim, and the athleticism and strength allows her to finish through contact. High potential.
Highlights
A playmaking wing with a tons of potential and a wide ranged skillset to match. She scores the ball in bunches, but her mentality to make the right play is always present. Hoffmann is team player with the ability to control the floor and cause disruption on the defensive side. With a couple offers secured already, Hoffman will be a key person to look at for programs in need of a versatile forward when July rolls around.
Length at the next level is always needed, and heavily recruited. Asia has that, and applies it seamlessly into any system. Defensively she reads the situation well and can time her steals and deselections perfectly. She can move the ball in transition and will get back on defense without hesitation. Offensively, as her skillset and confidence builds, Kobylarcyzk will be someone to keep an eye on.
With a class tons of talented small forwards, Harden sits at 12 and she holds her own very well. On the boards Hayven grabs the majority’s of them and can cause lots of disruption in the paint as well. Athletic, fast and coachable. As the offensive skills start to tighten up she’ll be a impactful piece to a program.
Fluid jumper, strong in the post and game changing on the boards. Cassidy has all the tools you need in a stretch forward. The scoring can come from any level on the court (with creativity), the defense can cause problems for guards and bigs, and her energy seems to never slow down. Constantly moving without the ball, Kaitlin makes herself a threat in multiple ways.
