This is the largest girls basketball exposure event featuring 2,776 teams from across the globe, 1,487 college coaches from every collegiate level, 84 courts, and 9,000 players in total. I was able to attend this historic event and the experience was one of a kind to say the least. Check out my top post players that dominated the interior at the Roses23.
Albertine “AB” Cyuzozo has made major improvements to her game and looks like a completely different player than last year. I liked the way she played against 2025 SMAC Storm she was unstoppable in the paint on offense scoring at will around the rim. She also showed great mobility by getting up and down the floor and did a good job protecting the rim using her size and length to wall up making it hard for the other team to get buckets inside. “AB” led the way with 19 points along with 3 rebounds helping her team get the huge win 56-37.
Highlights
I was able to see Juliana Frazee Juliana Frazee 6'1" | C Franklin County | 2025 State KY play on Thursday and Friday of the Run4Roses Classic. On Thursday against a really talented Michigan Mystics S40 team Frazee had a slow start offensively but she cranked it up in the second half and began playing more physical getting points inside and drawing fouls giving her free throw opportunities. On Friday she put on a gutsy performance in the 7:20PM game against the New Mexico Clippers S40 that went down to the wire. Frazee provided a much needed presence down low for a short-handed ETA Thunder 2024 team. She played hard on both ends of the floor and did a great job rebounding the ball helping her team get the win in a close one 56-53.
Jayla Stone
Jayla Stone
I saw Jayla Stone play at the PGH River City Run event back in May. From what I saw on Friday she has developed and improved her game since then. I was impressed with what she did against Buckeye State Blast Phoenix. Stone played with composure and made good decisions with the ball in her hands under pressure. She also showed off her range from three, set good high screens, and came up with a couple blocks on defense.
Abby Thelen
Abby Thelen
In a tough matchup against a loaded 2024 FBC Legacy JR National squad Abby Thelen held her own in the interior and showed that she can compete against top tier competition. She made a valiant effort on the boards, boxing out every time a shot went up and chasing down rebounds. Thelen made a difference on offense as well scoring in the low post and from the perimeter.

Amaya Smith Amaya Smith 5'8" | SF Huntington | 2024 State WV had a very good game against Virginia Elite. She played within herself and never tried to do too much. Smith used her size well to box out making sure she put a body on someone to come up with rebounds. She dominated the offensive glass and had several put-back buckets. I really liked her ability to finish at the rim, once she got deep position down low she scored every time. Smith caught the eye of college coaches as well picking up her first offer to play at the next level.
