As the high school summer just wrapped up and players about to finish their AAU seasons, I am taking a closer look into the conferences to review some of the top players who are returning. Here is the WESCO 2A/3A conference. This is just some of them, there will be more players who have big seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='318639' first='Alana' last='Washington'] - 2024 - Everett HS

Alana and her twin sister Mae are going to be big problems for opposing players all season long. Alana stands at 6'0" tall and is able to play inside or outside due to her athleticism. She has great footwork and finishes around the rim smoothly. She, like her sister, play very intense defense and causes many turnovers for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='412181' first='Mae' last='Washington'] - 2024 - Everett HS

Mae plays very similar to her sister, Alana. Both attack the bucket very aggressively and both run the court extremely well. Mae is very athletic as well, being able ton play many positions on the court too. Washington has a very steady deep shot as well, knocking it down consistently when needed. Washington has a very high IQ and is a player to watch next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='515021' first='Brooke' last='Blachly'] - 2026 - Archbishop-Murphy HS

Brooke could very much be one of the most complete players within the 2026 class. She plays beyond her age, showcasing a more advanced style of play on the court. She's a great leader on the court as she always is encouraging her teammates and being vocal on the court. She scores at all 3 levels smoothly and is one of the best shooters from deep in the entire state.

[player_tooltip player_id='502388' first='Mia' last='Brockmeyer'] - 2026 - Meadowdale HS

Mia is a gritty guard who gives it her all every single time she is on the court. She plays alongside [player_tooltip player_id='649102' first='Gia' last='Powell'] and the 2 make a very solid duo. She's passionate on the court and plays with a ton of energy, which helps bring energy to her team. She has a quick release and can hit off the catch at a high rate. As she continues to make her game more well rounded, she will start to be on more coaches radars.
